THE BAD BOYZ – U 14’S BASkETBAllWhen it comes to finals, we expect close games and intense competition as the best teams of the season play for the big one,

and this match was no exception! The Bad Boyz and the Pacers were impressive and determined, and the fast paced game

changed leads a couple of times. All eyes were on the scoreboard as the time clock counted down. The air was palpable with

excitement and the deafening noise from the very loud and enthusiastic supporter base was

intense as the match was drawn at full time! It doesn’t get much better than that. After a

short break and a further 5 mins to play to determine a winner, it was the Pacers who came

out all guns blazing and we started to play defensive and couldn’t match them! We ended up

losing by 6 points but it was a fantastic effort and one the boys should be well proud of!

Congratulations Pacers and well done Bad Boyz - no doubt we’ll meet again!

skilled opposition. The lead changed many times and for a while we didn’t look like we were going to get back from a 6 point

deficit in the 2nd half. With a pump up talk from Coach Phil and some intense cheering from the parents and eager supporters,

the boys clawed their way back to level the score and then some. It was an exciting game and we congratulate both teams on a

wonderful display of basketball - Well done Redbacks - we’re very proud of you.
