I have been Jaclyn’s Faculty Advisor for two years at Southern New Hampshire University. I know her to be an exceptionally focused student, a hard worker, and a real advocate for herself and her education. She is meticulous, she takes constructive criticism well, and she would be an asset to any organization. Because Jaclyn transferred to SNHU, she had to complete a lot of paperwork to make sure her courses transferred over correctly. This has been an ongoing process, but Jaclyn has always been on top of her degree requirements. She has an eye for detail and has always advocated for herself, making sure her transfer credits were allocated correctly and following up on any and all such matters. I have been impressed by her efficiency and diligence. Jaclyn also stands out among my other student advisees for her dedication to her studies. In addition to teaching in the English Department and overseeing advisees in English and Communication, I am the current Director of Undergraduate Research at SNHU. Jaclyn submitted a proposal to and presented at our SNHU Undergraduate Research Day in 2014 and she has just been accepted to present at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research in Washington in April 2015. This is an honor and it speaks to her willingness to work hard beyond the demands of her degree requirements. Jaclyn is a hard worker and she has an eye for detail that I believe would be an excellent employee. I recommend her wholeheartedly. Please contact me at [email protected] if you have any additional questions. Sincerely, Susan E. Cook Assistant Professor of English Director of Undergraduate Research
