    LESSON PLAN(Outline)

    Prayer:Dear Jesus, please help me teach theseyoung children about the wonders you created for

    us. Help them learn to love and appreciate these

    gifts and help me teach them in a manner in whichthey will remember forever. Amen.

    MATERIALS:Paper, Colored Pencils, Crayons, Pencils

    OBJECTIVES/MAIN IDEAS:To teach kids about the 7 days God created. To help kidrecognize that everything we have around us are gifts that God gave to usbecause he loves us.

    TEACHING METHOD &TECHNIQUES: We will go over the 7 days God created by

    simple movements to help students visualize each day. Students will then be splitinto two groups and play Seven Days Charades. Students will pick an event orrepresentation out of a cup and act it. Whichever team answers correctly first willwin the point. The first team to reach 10 points will win.

    RULES:Students must remain quiet while the teacher is lecturing. Students areallowed to join in and make hand movements with the teacher to help them learthe material. There will be a 1 minute section at the end of the lecture for studentsto ask questions.

    CONSEQUENCES:Students who disrupt the class will have the followingconsequences:

    y 1st Time: Warning. Student will be asked to stand with the teacher to helpdemonstrate the lesson.

    y 2nd Time: Student will receive time out.y 3rd Time: Parents will be called after the lesson is over.

    3. Homework: Students will draw a picture of their favorite creation day on apiece of paper. Students will write one short sentence on it to describe whichday it is. On the back of the paper, students will draw a picture of what theyare thankful for that God created for them. Students will write one shortsentence on it to describe the picture.

    4. Evaluation: Give each student a piece of paper and ask them to write on ascale of 1-3 who well they understand the lesson material. This will give theteacher a good estimate of the execution of the lesson.

    5. Reteach (if needed): If of students have trouble with the charades game ocannot answer at least half of the questions asked, re-teaching will bescheduled for the following week.
