Once upon a time there was a boy called Jack.
Erase una vez un niño llamado Jack.
He lived with his mother.El vivía con su madre.
They were very poor.Ellos eran muy pobres.
All they had was a cow.Todo lo que tenían era una vaca.
One morning, Jack’s mother told Jack to take their cow to market and sell her.
Una mañana la madre de Jack le dijo que tomara la vaca y la llevara al mercado a
venderla.
On the way, Jack met a man.En el camino Jack conoció a un hombre.
He gave Jack some magic beans for the cow.
Él le dio a Jack unas habichuelas mágicas por la vaca.
Jack took the beans and went back home.Jack tomo las habichuelas volvió a su casa.
When Jack’s mother saw the beans she was very angry.
Cuando la madre de Jack vio las habichuelas estaba muy enojada.
She threw the beans out of the window.Ella lanzó las habichuelas por la ventana.
The next morning, Jack looked out of the window.
La mañana siguiente Jack miró por la ventana
There was a giant beanstalk.Había una gigante habichuela mágica.
He went outside and started to climb the beanstalk.

He climbed up to the sky through the clouds.

Jack saw a beautiful castle.Jack vió un hermoso Castillo.
He went inside.El entró
Jack heard a voice “Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum!” Jack ran into a cupboard.

On the table there was a hen and a golden harp.
Sobre la mesa había una gallina y un arpa de oro.
Said the giant.El gigante dijo.
The hen laid and egg was a sleep.La gallina puso un huevo era un sueño.
Jack jumped out of the cupboard.Jack saltó del armario.
He took the hen and the harp.El tomó la gallina y el arpa
Suddenly, the harp sang, “Help, master!”De repente el arpa cantó “ayúdame amo!”
The giant woke up and shouted, “Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum!”
El gigante gritó “fee, fi, fo, fum!”
Jack ran and started climbing down the beanstalk.
Jack corrió y comenzó a bajar la habichuela mágica.
The giant came down after him.El gigante bajó después de él.
Jack shouted, “Mother, help!”Jack gritó “ayúdame madre!”
Jack’s mother took and axe and chopped down the beanstalk.
La madre de Jack tomó un hacha y taló la habichuela mágica.
The giant fell and crashed to the ground.El gigante cayó y se estrelló contra el
suelo.
Nobody ever saw him again.Nunca nadie lo volvió a ver.
With the golden eggs and the magic harp, Jack and his mother lived happily ever
after.Con los huevos de oro y el arpa mágica
Jack y su madre vivieron felices para siempre.
