    Mr. L. W. Hill,

    President.

    Dear Sir:

Referring to your letter dated September 25, 1927, regarding cost of oonstruoting the golf oourse at Glaoier Park, Montana:

The equipment rental sho\vn in my letter dated September 24, 1927 was paid to the Great Northern Railway Company for boarding and outfit oars used by the extra gang laborers employed in the oonstruotion of the golf oourse. As the Hotel Company is a subsidiary of the Railway Company, this rental does not represent an out-of-pooket expense, but in order to avoid any guest ion as to whether or not the oontraotor is entitled to g~ oommission on this item I will transfer the equipment rental to a Suspense aooount until after settlement is made with the oontraotor.

A statement showing details of the $7,306.g3 shown in my letter dated September 20, 1927 as the oost of materials, suoh as seed, eto., is attaohed. Requisitions oovering the purohase of these materials are also attaohed.

In oonneotion with equipment aotually purohased for this work w ld say that there should be a oredit allowanoe for salvag through sale or otherwise when the work is oom-pleted unl ss the Hotel Company retains suoh equipment for future u

When these requisitions have served your purpose, pleas return them to me for file.
