Opacity and visibility. Compactness and fragmentary. Public dimensions anddomestic scale. Privacy and shared urban spaces. Hiding and showing.Silent garden and children's voices in the square. Quiet streets through theurban mass, while music comes from an anonymous window. Improvisedsingularities making the specific urban plan possible. Comprehension andexperience. Understanding that more than 3 billion people will be moving into cities over the next 40
years, participant in this 1st experimental Think Tank MOOC worked in interdisciplinary
teams from different countries and designed models for future living in urban centers
under the direction of architect Daniel Libeskind and the collaborative web-based
learning led by distinguished scholars and experts from different countries and
disciplines. The teams translated their ideas of the ideal city into a final visualization.

Bianca Kindler - anthropologist, Frankfurt an Oder, Germany,
Eric Reinhard - architect, Boston, U.S.A,
Esteban Fernández - architect, Buenos Aires, Argentina,
Javier Pérez-Lanzac - architect, Berlin, Germany,
Martina Helms - analyst, Hamburg, Germany,
was chosen as best team and our project New Port City was awarded as best project.
The team and the project were presented with Daniel Libeskind and the teachers crew
in Lüneburg University (Germany) in October 2013
