In the matter of an industrial agreement, dated the 16th day of June, 1919, madebetween the United Furniture Trades Industrial Union of Workers (hereinafterreferred to as the Union), and Baker and Moore ; Bon Marche, Limited ; Foyand Gibson Proprietary, Limited; Perth Shop Fitting Company ; and W.Zimpel (hereinafter referred to as " the employers"), and in the matter of anapplication by the abovenamed Union to have the said industrial agreement madea Common Rule.

Upon hearing Mr. W. N. Smith, the Secretary of the abovenamed Union,there being no appearance on behalf of any party desiring to be heard in opposition,and upon being satisfied that the requirements of the Act and Regulations haveboon complied with, the Court doth declare that the industrial agreement, datedthe 16th day of June, 1919, made between the Union and the Employers, andregistered No. 10/1919, shall have the effect of an award and be a Common Ruleof the Industry to which it relates within that portion of the State of WesternAustralia as is comprised within a radius of twenty miles from the General PostOffice in the City of Perth.

MUNICIPALITY OF GERALDTON.

Notice of intention to borrow £1,000.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Muni-cipality of Geraldton proposes to borrow the sum of£'1,000 by the sale of debentures, for the purpose ofextending electric mains and purchase of electric plantfor Electric Light Station.

The rate of interest to be paid on debentures will besix pounds (£6) per centum per annum, payable half-yearly at the Council Office, Geraldton, where theprincipal suns will be repayable 21 years after issue ofdebentures, the Council reserving the right to redeemthe loan at par at any time after seven years. A sink-ing fund of three pounds (£3) per centum per annumwill be provided.

Plans, specifications, and a statement showing theproposed expenditure of the money are open for in-spection at the office of the Council, Eleanor Street,Geraldton.

MUNICIPALITY OF CLAREMONT.No. 10 Loan.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Muni-cipality of Claremont proposes to borrow the sum of£10,000 (Ten thousand pounds sterling) to be expendedin construction of roads, footpaths, drains, purchase ofland for opening of streets, and improvement of endow-ment lands.

Notice is hereby given that, in so far as the Loan isto be expended in the construction of works and under-takings, the plans, specifications, and estimates of suchworks and undertakings, and the statement showing theproposed expenditure of the money to be borrowed, areopen for inspection at the office of the ClaremontMunicipal Council, Claremont, for one month from thedate of publication hereof, between the hours of 9,30o'clock in the forenoon and 4.30 o'clock in the after-noon on any day except Saturdays and Sundays, and onSaturdays between 9.30 o'clock in the forenoon and11oe11.

The amount of £10,000 is proposed to be raised by thesale of debentures bearing interest at the rate of Sixpounds per centuni per annum, such interest to be paidhalf-yearly and such interest and debentures to be pay-able at the office of the Claremont Municipal Council,at Claremont.

The said debentures are to be repayable twenty yearsafter the issue thereof.

£2 per centum on the amount of the Loan will beinvested every year, in accordance with the said Act, toform a Sinking Fund.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred by "The RoadsAct, 1911," and ''Tile Cattle Trespass, Fencing, andImpounding Act, 1882," the Perth Road Board has es-tablished a Public Pound on Lots 4 and 5 of SwanLocation Y, situate in Government Road and FergusonAvenue, in the Peninsula Ward.

The following Trespass, Impounding, and SustenanceFees shall be charged and collected by the Pound-keeper :—

Poundage Fees.3s. per head for every entire horse, ass, or bull.Is. Gd. per head on all other great or small cattle.

Sustenance.Gs. per diem of 24 hours and 3s. Gd. per client of 1.9

hours for every other head of great or small cattle.The following is the scale of flies which shall be im-

posed on owners of cattle for trespass upon or damageto land whereof the Perth Road Board is the owner, orupon land within the limits of the said Road BoardDistrict which shall not be enclosed by a sufficientfence
