Collecting HealthCheck Information To support the HealthCheck, we need to collect information from you. The Diagnostic Zip option in your iSM Administration Console provides a quick way to collect the current configuration and log files of your iSM installation. You can also add descriptive comments to the .zip file that is created to support the assessment. This file is labeled with a timestamp in your configuration directory (for example, ism_home\config\base). Note: Remove any previous trace files prior to running the Diagnostic Zip option. To create a diagnostic .zip file: 1. Click Tools in the menu bar, which is located in the top pane, as shown in the following image. 2. Collecting HealthCheck InformationTo support the HealthCheck, we need to collect information from you. The Diagnostic Zip option in your iSM Administration Console provides a quick way to collect the current configuration and log files of your iSM installation. 3. Type any descriptive comments that you would like to include with your diagnostic .zip file in the Comments field.

4. Click Create Diagnostic Zip, as shown in the following image.

A message that identifies the name and path of the generated diagnostic .zip file is displayed . In this example, if you are using the iSM configuration base, the file is saved to the location shown in the following image.

5. If you navigate to this path on your system, you can explore the contents of the diagnostic .zip file, as shown in the followingimage.

Notice that the base.xml file is also packaged with the diagnostic .zip file, which is the dictionary of your iSM configuration and provides us with a usage summary.

6. Once your iSM diagnostic .zip file is created, send it to us, so we can perform the HealthCheck.
