    1- IuB Data Configuration Overview

    NodeB initial data configuration

    Definition:

    NodeB initial configuration is the process of preparing and configuring the data

    after the NodeB hardware components are installed. The configuration is based

    on the NodeB hardware components, network planning, and data negotiationbetween the NodeB and other equipment. After the configuration, a data

    configuration file is generated.

    Data Configuration Overview

    Tool ---- WRAN CME:

    A tool for NodeB initial configuration, provides an integrated

    solution to RAN data configuration

    This tool can be used for initial configuration and data

    reconfiguration for the NodeB and the RNC

    The GUI-based CME provides the operating platform for RAN

    data configuration

    The forth generation NodeB require the CME V100R008 version

    Methods :

    The RF Configuration Rules of New NodeB

    The mechanism of the RF board is the chain and ring mechanism in V200R010.

    The steps of configuration the RF board

    1.ADD SUBRACK to add RFU cabinet.

    2.ADD RRUCHAIN to add chain or ring.

    3.SET RRUCHAINBRKPOS to set the break pointoptional)

    4.ADD RRU to add WRFU/MRRU/PRRU

    5.RMV RRUCHAINBRKPOS to cancel the break point

    optional

    Right-click the RRU chain to configure the previous five steps in CME software.

    The Backup Mode of RF board

    MRRU only support the cold backup mode

    The backup mode should be configured in properties of the RRU chain/ring

    The hot backup ring can not support the upper layer cascading

    The RRUs are of the following types: MRRU, RHUB, PRRU, and WRFU

    The RRU Chain of the distributed NodeB supports the configuration of threeRRU types: MRRU, RHUB, and PRRU

    the RRU Chain of the macro NodeB supports the configuration of four RRU

    types: MRRU, RHUB, PRRU, and WRFU
