PARIS, FRANCE Cultural Trip – The grandness of the ‘City of Lights ’
Day 1 – Arrival in PARIS & ‘Paris Story ’
Morning: Meet your ITS Tour Leader at CDG International Airport , private bustransfer to your hotel and check-in (or baggage drop-off).
Afternoon: ‘Paris Story ’: a 45-minute documentary on the real history of theFrench capital.
Evening: Dinner at typical Restaurant Flam’s located on the Parisian GrandsBoulevards and early bedtime to recover from jetlag.
Day 2 – Eiffel Tower, Boat cruise & Notre-Dame de Paris
Morning: Eiffel Tower : climb the Tower and enjoy Paris’ worldwide knownlandmark.
Afternoon: Boat cruise: relax and admire the monuments during the 1-hour loop on the river Seine.Notre-Dame de Paris: enter the cathedral, a gothic masterpiecefamous after French novelist Victor Hugo’s Quasimodo.If time, go for a walk around and discover the ‘ Quart ier Latin ’ district.
Evening: Dinner at a French Crêperie on the Rive Gauche district.
Day 3 – Louvre Museum & Shopping
Morning: Musée du Louvre: this huge museum houses the enigmatic MonaLisa among the best works of art from all over the world – specific
guide of the museum upon request and if available.
Afternoon: Walk around through the Jardins des Tuileries, Place de laConcorde, la Madeleine and Place Vendôme – famous for its
expensive jewelry stores.Shopping: retail therapy at the French fashion mall GaleriesLafayette.
Evening: Dinner in the electric atmosphere of the Hard Rock Caf é Paris.
Day 4 – Science Museum & Old Age Home or French School
Morning: Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie: attractions combiningscience, exhibitions and leisure – Explora and 3D movie at La Géode.
Afternoon: Old Age Home – Résidence Brune: come and bring humor intothe elderly lives.
Or French School: exchange with the local students.
Evening: Dinner at Indian Restaurant Rani Mahal .
Day 5 – Disneyland Paris or Parc Astérix
Full Day: Disneyland Paris: use the Fast Pass System to enjoy the rides andspecial attractions of the amusement park – Space Mountain is afavorite.
Or Parc Astérix: the only place in the world, where the Gaulish Spirit reigns – don’ t be afraid of getting wet!
Evening: Dinner at the King Ludwig ’ s Castle Restaurant inside the DisneyVillage – or back in Paris if your choice is the Parc Ast érix .

Day 6 – Versailles Palace & National Modern Art Museum
Morning: Château de Versailles: the construction project was about tobegin on 6 May 1682, when this stunning castle officially becamethe seat of the government. Admire the original perspective of thegardens laterdeveloped by André Le Nôtre.
Afternoon: National Modern Art Museum: discover some works of Picasso,or Chagall among others at the Centre Georges Pompidou.Marais: walk through the only remaining Middle-Age part of Parisand Place des Vosges.
Evening: Dinner at French Brasserie Chez Cl ément in the Bastille area.
Day 7 – Montmartre, Champs-Elysées & Arc de Triomphe
Morning: Montmartre: visit the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur & experience theParis’ Bohemian district having your portrait sketched at Pl. duTertre.
Afternoon: Champs-Elysées: it is seen by the Parisians as the ‘World’ s most beautiful Avenue’ – a chance for a last-minute shopping!
Evening: Arc de Triomphe: climb at dusk for the finest night views of thecapital.Buffet dinner nearby at Restaurant Monte-Carlo.
Day 8 – Departure from PARIS
Morning: Check out of your hotel and transfer to CDG International Airport .Time to say...

Safety is an absolute priority with ITS trips. Our experienced and trained staff are First Aid qualified. Eachstaff member has a mobile telephone for emergencies and overall communication. France has an extensivehealth care system. A complete risk assessment is provided for each trip.

Money: The Euro is the accepted currency in France. We recommend that you exchange money before your departure or at the airport upon arrival. We also recommend you to minimise the amount of cash carried bychildren in any case.
Tour Style: ITS Staff accompanies the group during the entire duration, organizing all the activities and visits.School staff are responsible for the pastoral care of the students and must be the people in charge of thegroup control and discipline at all times.Food will be mainly authentic local cuisine – please inform us as soon as possible of your dietaryrequirements.Lunches are not included in the price.Transportation by metro or trains to experience the real citizen life, except when carrying the baggage or when notified.
Equipment: Temperatures can fluctuate so waterproof and comfortable clothing according to the season is recommended. Walking shoes, a hat and sunglasses, a back pack, a water bottle, an insects repellent and
sunscreen (high factor sunblock) are essentials. Don’t forget to bring your camera and battery charger! A medical kit will be carried along with the group by the ITS tour leader; but extra items other than the First AidKit will be the responsibility of the participant or the school staff leader.
Lodging: Students are accommodated in twin / triple rooms. Please be aware that some hotels may not provide twin beds but in some cases students may have to share a bed or lie on an extra mattress.
Conditions: The price per student is based on the above offer and guaranteed for a minimum 20 payingstudents.
