It’s the Seventh Day

Joshua 6:1

“Now the gates of Jericho was tightly shut because the people were afraid of the Israelites. No one was allowed to go out or in”

Heb 10:35-39 “So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.

 “For in just a little while,

 the Coming One will come and not delay.And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.”

But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved”

Align your perspective to the promises of God

Jos 6:2 But the Lord said to Joshua, “I have given you Jericho, its king, and all its strong warriors”

“See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. (NIV)

Align your speech

Jos 6:3-5 “You and your fighting men should march around the town once a day for six days. Seven priests will walk ahead of the Ark, each carrying a ram’s horn. On the seventh day you are to march around the town seven times, with the priests blowing the horns. When you hear the priests give one long blast on the rams’ horns, have all the people shout as loud as they can. Then the walls of the town will collapse, and the people can charge straight into the town

v. 10 “Do not shout, do not even talk” Joshua commanded. “Not a single word from any of you until I tell you to shout”
