We Miss You Shirley Pearson ! Shirley’s friends came together

en mass last week for laughter, tears and lunch, to celebrate her life.

Shirley was always full of fun, and ready for a new adventures,

dressed to the nines in matching jewelry...Her friends in-

cluding Sandy Cannon, Gladys Butler, Kay Ballew, and

Helen Davis along with many others remembered her.

Mitch’s Restaurant will be hosting the PINK PALS luncheon on Friday,

March 23rd to benefit the Cumberland County Relay for Life. Tickets are

We finally have some answers to the mystery rock

found in the lake this winter....From 1971 to 1973

Aristides and Laurine Cardona owned the

Wampler's A-frame. Since the stone says Renee

Cardona 1972 June 14 and the initials MJC 1972!

we assume they are their children. We would love

to hear from anyone who knew the Cardona family

or Dana W. Nance (and wife) who sold them the

property.

tilize as well as the very best weed preventer on the market .The fertilizer, a 24-5-

11 analysis, will be offered for $30.00 per 50 lb. bag, which is around $11.00 less

than national brands. Each bag covers 11,000 square feet.

The pre-emerge (weed preventer) will be offered for $35.00 per 50 lb. bag, which

is about $9.00 less than national brands. Each bag covers 11,000 square feet.
