L ST 325 - WWII Landing Ship, Tank The “Last of her Class,” the LST 325 is an authentic WWII warship that landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day and went on to serve in the Pacific arena and the Korean War. She is the last navigable LST in operation today. Guided tours available.

The Evansville Wartime Museum During WWII, our nation’s military went into battle with airplanes, ships, tanks and munitions manufactured in Evansville. The museum is dedicated to showing and celebrating the stories of those who were there along with memorabilia they collect.

Bosse Field Currently home to the Evansville Otters, Bosse Field opened in 1915 and was the first municipally –owned sports facility in the United States. Only Boston’s Fenway Park (1912) and Chicago’s Wrigley Field (1914) are older than Evansville’s Bosse Field. The box office hit “A League of Their Own” was filmed at Bosse Field in 1992.

MESA: A Collaborative Kitchen Mesa is a state-of-the-art collaborative kitchen, featuring demonstrations by southern Indiana and Louisville established and aspiring chefs. The chefs prepare and demonstrate 3-5 courses while explaining the process, answering questions and talking with guests who have front-row seats. Guests purchase seats for the class online. At class, a beverage is paired with the chef’s menu. The Falls of the Ohio State Park and Interpretive Center Groups can see the largest exposed Devonian fossil bed in the world when river levels are low. Overlooking the Ohio River, the state-of-the-art Interpretive Center takes groups on an interactive timeline of the people, places and animals from 390 million years ago to today. There’s no other place like it in the world! The site was recently added to the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail.
