ITIL ® Glossary of Terms, Definitions and Acronyms in Hungarian, V3.1.24.h2.5, 24 February 2008, prepared by itSMF Hungary ITIL  ® V3 Hungarian Glossary Notes: 1. This ITIL ® V3 Hungarian Glossary (internal version: 2.5) is the itSMF Hungary’s official translation of ITIL ® V3 Glossary of Terms, Definitions and Acronyms (version 3.1.24). 2. The Hungar ian ITIL Terms have a relative ly long evaluation from the firs t Hungarian ITIL V2 Gloss ary (2004) through Hu ngarian Tran slation of BS 15000 (MSZ E 15100, 2005) up to the final official Hungarian release of ISO/IE C 20000 (2006, MSZ ISO/IEC 20000) by the Hungaria n Standards Institute. itSMF Hungary has been involved thorughout, moreover, it has led and supported the translation efforts in many ways. 3. itSMF Hung ary would like to express its gratitude and ackn owledge the contrib ution of Zoltán Nagy of Hewlett-P ackard, Gáb or Pintér of IBM, Gábor Patay of GPIT, László Bakay of Kürt, Miklós Völgyi of MOL and Péter Krauth of LATERAL Consulting, in the production of this glossary. Instructions for Use: 1. One English Te rm may be translated by mor e than one Hungarian Ter ms (synonym s or grammatical vers ions). These are iden tified by a hyphen (–). The order of synonym s/versions is importan t. The higher in the list is a synonym/vers ion, the more recommended is its use. The Term on the top of the list (without a hyphen) is the single most recommended Hungarian Term for an English Term. 2. One English Term m ay have more than one meaning s in Hungarian. These diffe rent meanings are som etimes identif ied by numbers (1., 2., 3. etc). The frist meaning is intended to be the equivalent meaning for the English Term. If the original Englsih Definition contained inherently definitions for different meanings, then these meanings can be expected to appear as numbered meanings in the Hungarian Term(s) column, and their corresponding Hungarian Definitions are also numbered. 3. In this ITIL V3 Hungaria n Glossary, the Hun garian Terms are tagg ed by their origins. If a Term appear ed already in the ITIL V2 Glossar y or MSZ ISO/IEC 2000 0, then it is tagged accordingl y, i.e. by ITIL V2 or MSZ 20000. For some of the Terms, there existed already a translation in MSZ EN ISO 9001:2001. These Terms are tagged by MSZ 9001. If a Term is not tagged then it is either a new ITIL V3 Term, or it is very common and well accepted in the Hungarian IT Service Management practice. 4. There is no separ ate table for acron yms. Acron yms have been inc orporated int o the single Term Def inition table as its sec ond column . 1
