ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY ENERGY
As non-renewable energy resources continue to diminish, the needfor alternative energy sources is getting more necessary andchallenging.
ITECO recognises this need as non-renewable resources show adiminishing trend throughout the globe.Geothermal Energy is formed by the heat contained within the Earth.Geothermal energy can be captured through:
1. Geothermal Power Plants: Which use heat from deep inside theEarth to generate steam to make electricity. You're most likely tofind one of these power plants in an area that has a lot of hotsprings, geysers, or volcanic activity.
2. Geothermal Heat Pumps: These systems transfer heat bypumping water or a refrigerant (a special type of fluid) throughpipes just below the Earth's surface. During the winter, the water
or refrigerant absorbs warmth from the Earth, and the pumpbrings this heat to the building above. In the summer, someheat pumps can run in reverse and help cool buildings.
