My Motivation

• I remember last year my friend take this class and he strongly recommend this class to me and told me I will learn a lot of stuff from this class so I take this class to learn some different way of learning.

My Learning Preference

• In the beginning of the class, my score of learning preferences shows that I am a visual learner. I score 3 on Reflective, 3 on Sensing, 9 on Visual, 1 on Global. I think this score reflect correctly to my learning preferences.

My Goal on Learning Preferences

• I think by the end of the class I want to make myself a more verbalize learner and I keep improving on this part. I think at this point I can see my progress on the way I want to be and my learning preferences is changing little by little. I think I didn’t change much on my learning preferences because this is the way that I study for 20 years but now I know my weakness and I am working towards to my target.

My Plans

• I choose to be a learning warrior in my learning pathway at the beginning of the class. I choose to learn a deeper knowledge of different technologies. I choose ipad, mp3 and game simulation as my learning strategies. I think my strategies are success since I keep using all these technologies to enhance my study and more important I will use these technologies in my future studies.

Activities for My Learning Pathway

• I think the level 2 activity help me get a broader understanding of how to use micro blogs and screen cast technology for learning. I use them to get more information from the Internet. I think these technologies works pretty well. In the level 3 activity, they get me a deeper understanding of ipad, game simulation and mp3 technologies. I use ipod to listen to the podcast from my course on my way to school and I use the note taking apps in my ipad to organize my notes. I think the ipad technology work the best for me so far.

The Technologies I Use

• I take 3 technologies to help my learning, ipad, ipod and game & MMOGs. For ipad, I use note taking app to organize my notes. Also I use group chat to communicate with my study group. For ipod, I use it to listen to the podcast of my class. Also I use it to review the lectures for my online class. For game & MMOGs, I use the sales forecasting game to learn more marketing and economic theorems to help my business getting better. I think these learning strategies are very useful for me. They work very well on my study.

My Experiences about the Technologies

• I think I am using these technologies in a right way. Using the note taking apps can improve my note taking skills and also this kind of apps can make my notes being more organized and I can also using audio note taking to record what the professor says in the class. In this way I can improve my verbal learning ability and this is the part I want to improve. I organized the notes very well and I fully understand what the professor said in class. Using the ipod I can review my lecture everywhere and game & MMOGs is also a fresh experience for me in study. These technologies help me building my learning preferences in the way I want.

Futher Experiences about the Technologies

• I think at first game & MMOGs interested me the most as learning tools. Because I never think there are so much simulating games about study now and each one are so well developed and efficiency. However, the technology surprised me the most is ipad technology. Before this semester I think ipad is a larger iphone but as this semester I learn more ipad techniques and I found it is very useful and very convenient. In my opinion, although game & MMOGs is very interesting and new to me but they didn’t seem to work well as learning tools. Because as I play the game further I found the technology now is still not developed well and the learning materials are still limited. However, game & MMOGs is still the technology that I want to explore further to improve my study because although it didn’t work as I expect but still I think this technology has so much potential that can improve my study.

My Physiological Change

• I think change my sleep time improve my study the most. My past body-related habits are not very healthy. After enter college, I began to stay up late very often. But as I change my sleeping time, I can have enough sleep at night and also the brain rest the most at early night. This will not only help the brain rest but also improve the ability of memory. In addition, this can make me wake up early and I can have breakfast in the morning to get enough energy for my brain. This can help me getting more energy in my study, my work and my life.

What I Will Continue after This Class

• The learning strategies I will continue to use after this class is the ipad technology. I think using ipad can easily help me organize my stuff and mark the important places. Also the ipad technology allows me to easily access and process my files and jobs. Ipad’s function now is very wide. I will also continue to use the game technology since I think this technology will be better and better and I want to use it in my further learning.

Overall Summary

• Overall this semester is a very interesting experience for me and I learn and benefit a lot from the course. I am very glad that I take this course and having such a good semester with great fellow students and professor.
