the brochure
In 2015 we moved our focus to a strictly digital way of marketing the Aviation Festival Africa. With the exhibition elevated as the Africa’s number one aviation conference and exhibition we used the brochure to invite buyers from across Africa and globally.
The brochure was a great platform to show the exhibitors of the show and let our customers see why they needed to be there.
the visitor ticket
Simple and effective, the flyers and fold-out mini brochure was another way to let people know who they would be meeting on the expo floor. As well as the event highlights that will be taking place by our 2015 sponsors.
With a list of all sponsors and exhibitors, it was a quick and easy way to show that the Aviation Festival Africa had more exhibitors than ever before. Over 20 000 people received the visitor ticket.
billboard
The Aviation Festival ran billboards around ORTambo airport for the months leading up to the show.
HoW We spread tHe Word
online
the brochure
We distributed the brochure to our own transport database, over 55 industry publications andthrough our partners, leading to over 1000 people downloading the brochure in the leadup to the show.
emails
Over 115 emails to our own database of 250 000 people and over 120 emails via 3rd party databasesof 125 000 people.
social Media
The Africa’s transport group on LinkedIn had 1500 group members, where key announcements and highlights were shared.
At the end of the day, the show is all about helping everyone meet the right contactsto do business.
We can tell the world how great The Aviation Festival Africa is, but it’s much more convincing coming from the sponsors and exhibitors who invest their time and money in being present at the show.
That’s why our exhibitors who promote their involvement in the show so heavily ultimately have the busiest stands. The Aviation Festival Africa created unique marketing packs foreach sponsor and exhibitor.
How did our exhibitors promote themselves?• personalised html invites• banners• email signatures• advertising in magazines • press releases for distribution in the media pack and externally through partners• copies of the brochure and visitor ticket
