October 21st Friday

departure by coach from Isernia to Rome airport

departure from Rome airport (Alitalia Airlines flight number AZ82)

arrival at Valencia airport at 12.25; coach to Novelda. Arrival at Novelda at about 15.15. Meeting the host families and accommodation. Free time with host families and friends.

October 22nd Saturday

Full day trip to Murcia

9.00: departure by coach from the school. Cathedral, the square of the flowers, old quarter , Platería Street, etc. Free time for lunch and and walking by the river Segura. After lunch, we will visit the city and promenade of Torrevieja. During our return to Novelda you’ll have the opportunity to see the salt lagoons of La Mata and Torrevieja.

October, 23rd Sunday

Students: full day with the host families

Teachers: visiting some picturesque places in Alicante (Campello,...)

October, 24th Monday

8.00: welcome and introductions to our school. Guided visit to our school and meeting with our headmaster and other school teachers and classmates.

9.00 – 9.45: working on the project in the computer lab 1

9.45-10.40: working on the project with the Spanish class-mates. (Practical English Lesson) in “Aula de Usos Múltiples”

10.40-11.05: Break time

11.05-12.00: Physics and Chemistry Workshop in the Physics/Chemistry lab.

12.00 – 12.55: Spanish Lessons with students from 2º bach A

13.15 -15.00: Visit to Elche.

Departure by coach to Elche. Lunch in the Palm Tree side of this city and then walking tour around this beautiful place. Coming back to Novelda about six pm

October, 25th Tuesday

Full day Trip to Alicante

9.00: Departure by coach to Alicante. Castle, Beach Promenade, La Explanada, Town Hall, Old Quarter, Museum of Fogueres, Museum of “Nativity Scenes”,etc. Free time for having lunch and visiting the Alicante Race Village where you will have the opportunity to get a firsthand look at competing teams in the “Volvo Ocean Race” or take part in any of the activities or workshops there. Coming back to Novelda at about half past six.

October, 26th Wednesday

8.00-8.55: making diaries in the computer room 1

8.55: Walking tour to Novelda.

9.30:Modernist Museum and Gómez Tortosa, city centre, St. Peter’s church , old square and Casino

12.00: Workshop at the Chemistry Lab.

13.00: Football Match “Spain against Italy”

October, 27th Thursday

Full day trip to Benidorm

8:00: Departure by coach from the school. Stop at La Vila to have breakfast (chocolate with “churros”). Working on the project in Benidorm “Eco-Enquiries” to know the sustainable daily habits of people from different nationalities. Coming back to Novelda at about 7 pm

October, 28th Friday

8.00 – 8.55 : Spanish Lessons with students from 2º bach B

9.00 -13.00: walking tour by the river Vinalopó (you will need trainers for this excursion)

13.00 -14.00: Film on environmental issue

14:00 -15.00: workshop in the Arts classroom

October, 29th Saturday

Full day trip to Valencia

8.00: Departure by coach from the school. Walking tour visiting the old quarter of the city (Catedral, Palau de la Generalitat, Lonja, Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, Plaza de la Virgen, etc.) . Free time to have lunch and do some shopping before coming back to Novelda. Coming back to Novelda at about 8 pm

Students: Free time with families

Teachers: Visiting some picturesque places in Alicante: Villena, ...

October, 31th Monday

At school with luggage at the established time

Departure to Valencia airport. Arrival in Rome and by coach to Isernia (phone your parents for your exact arrival time in Novelda)
