For over 30 years Galassia spa takes the utmost care in the manufacturing of the bathroom and kitchen sectors with the aim of producing products which match together functionality, harmony of shapes with a unique design and the best quality. Thanks to continuous updates and improvements on manufacturing processing
techniques, to the use of the latest manufacturing technologies combined to the craftsmanship of the operators, Galassia spa has reached, over the years, the highest quality levels in the ceramics production.The Company can be considered today as a growing business production reality, in terms of sales and

turnover but also for its dimensions, technology and know how. Galassia spa is one of the main leaders in the domestic and international ceramics sector. A certified success first due to the several awards won for Galassia products and also because it took parts in some important architectural projects in the world.

Galassia Spa has 2 production plants, both located in the Civita Castellana ceramic district and its production capacity is of 450.000 items per year.
Galassia covers a 72.000 square metres 34,000 which are covered.

CONCEPT
Galassia first believes that people make a company competitive and for this reason it gives a great importance to workers and employees as a very important human resource, involving each single person in the sharing of aims and goals.
The “concept design”, or simply “the idea”, was born and developed in a creative context which is not limited to the definition of new shapes and materials but it involves all the creative process of the new product, from the idea to its communicative performance, up to the distribution to the final customer.

SUSTAINABILITY AND TERRITORY

Climate changes have brought all responsible companies to think again about their own activities with the aim of reducing the impact on the environment. Aware of this Galassia spa has invested on sustainable energies, particularly in installing a photovoltaic power generation system in a process of energy efficiency.This is an investment which shows how the Company has always been proactive to environmental issues for the welfare of everyone. In recent years the company has made huge investments replacing the entire roof of the factory with an insulation cover with less dispersion, eliminating the risk of pollution of the old Eternit roof. The structure covers 7.000 square meters of surface, able to produce the necessary energy for production processes through the most sustainable source, the sun, saving over 260 tons of CO2 per year. Producing electricity with this new system avoids the use of fossil fuels like oil and coal and prevents the emission of polluting agents Cox (greenhouse gas), NOx (photochemical smog) and SOx (acid rains).
