It was a fantabulous trip with lot of adventur e, excitement and in the end e xtreme  pleasure. I and my friend Ashutosh started o ur tip on 26 th Dec¶10; we both were excited as we had planned things well in advance to avoid any worries within our trip. It was a 10 day long trip with more than 4 destinations to visit. We had all our reservations in place, we knew where we will be staying and what all places we have to visit. On 26 th Dec¶10 at 11:10Am we started o ur journey towards Delhi, we had our reservation in Duronto express, it was a 20 hour long journey from Pune to Delhi . Duronto is a very good train with all hygienic facilities; it has all the facilities of Rajdhani e xpress. It is a non-stop train except few stops for servicing purpose. It was a pleasant journey with lot of fun.On 27 th Dec¶10 around 07:15Am we reached Delhi (Hizbul nizamuddin) Railway station. We hired an auto r ickshaw and moved towards our friend¶s room, he works in Delhi and stays near Kutubminar Area. I had my Digi camera with me and I started taking pictures of this beautiful journey, because of Common wealth Games there are lot of improvements one can notice in Delhi, especially the roads are wide and clean. It was morning time and at around 8:20Am we reached to our friends place. Our friend¶s room is very near to Kutubminar and from his balcony we can easily view this historical monument, he stays here from last 3 years but never got a chance to visit this beautiful monument. But we don¶t want to miss this opportunity and with an hour¶s time we both got fresh and decided to visi t all important places in Delhi. We started our journey from Kutubminar, it¶s a must see histori cal monument o f India, it¶s a huge and startling monument. It is the world's tallest brick minaret with a diameter of 14.32m at the base and about 2.75m on the top with a height of 72.5m constructed by Qutubuddin Aibak. Qutub-Minar is in red and buff sandstone is the highest tower in India. we both enjoyed that place and clicked many photographs. Me and Ashutosh are very goo d friends and we both belongs to same native place in UP. We are friends from last 10years and even o ur families know each other very well. We  both have same area o f interest and that¶s why we both enjoy ea ch other¶s company. We stayed there for an hour¶s time and then we decided t o visit India Gate, Delhi have improved a-lot in their transport facilities, within few minutes we got Bus for India Gat e, let me tell you I have never seen such bus services in Pune, the bus was full air- conditioned with digital display. It took around 45mins to reach India Gat e. It is truly deserves to be called as national monument of India, Its a huge 42m high stone arch of victory, stands at the eastern end of Rajpath. More than 90,000 Indian Army soldiers who died in the First World War are inscribed on the walls of this grand structure. Amar Jawan Jyoti, was lit under the arch of the India Gate to ho nor the brave unknown soldiers. The flame is flanked by uniformed soldiers, who stand guard over t he flame. Near the flame, a shining rifle with a helmet on it, is placed on a h igh pedestal, as a tribute to t he soldiers who sacrificed their lives in  battle.
