Our FellowsThe Honor Foundation admits only the most qualified and focused military talent into our program. Our admitted Fellows together represent diverse backgrounds, formal education & skill sets, interests, life experience and varied expertise. While in our classrooms they continue to learn from not only one another, but also prestigious faculty and in house executives. Everyone is constantly gaining new experience from each other. Fellows admitted into our program are motivated to discover the answer to two very important questions, how can I add value to a new organization and when can I start?

THF Fellows are ready to lead and ready to follow at any level, bringing unique and relevant skills to your

business, no matter the industry. The SOF community holds themselves to the highest standard of discipline, character and integrity. Our Fellows can’t be found anywhere else in the world. The value of their career training and professionalism can not be measured by any ordinary standards.

Members of the Special Operations Forces community have been shaping the business world around them for decades. Now, our Fellows wish to make a difference in your organization. The Honor PointOur graduates see the big picture. The United States Government has invested billions to discover them, train them, and formally educate this community. These individuals were selected for this military community for their ability to think outside the box and entrepreneurial spirit. Over their career they were equipped with executive skills to manage a global organization -- a career constant being professional development and technical training.

The Honor Foundation, being the next phase in their career pipeline, prepares and pushes these individuals even further. With the help of our Employer Partner’s, top business schools, elite faculty, CEO’s, senior hiring executives, leading entrepreneurs, and the best in executive education, our graduates will be the most focused military professionals entering the workforce.

Once they graduate and become a program Fellow, they’ve arrived at The Honor Point. Once arriving at this point, they will be expected to take the tools we’ve provided them, work with us and

explore our professional network, and create a new strategic way forward.

Long Term PartnershipsThe Honor Foundation is no different than a top tier business school looking to place their grads into the right careers, for them and your business. The Honor Foundation Employer Partner AdvantagesSuccess in recruiting with The Honor Foundation is linked to a number of factors, including your organization’s brand visibility throughout our classrooms, events, website and social media campaigns. We have outlined below several recommendations that we hope will inform you on our recruiting strategy. MentorshipThe Honor Foundation has interacted with hundreds of individuals from the SOF community. Once your company becomes an Employer Partnership we will pair each Fellow with a member of your team for a one -on- one advocacy opportunity. Prescribing a senior executive to work alongside our Fellows is a high priority for The Honor Foundation. Members of the Special Operations Community are not just elite military in transition, they’re executives in training. The Mentorship Program allows for lasting Partnerships to take place while our candidates are in an active state of transition, one professional to another. While the The Honor Foundation continues to focus on long term growth, we are partnering with platforms such as Salesforce and MentorMint, in order to build a massive database of up to 65,000 SOF members by 2020, and to pair over 800 Fellows with numerous mentors by 2018.

Our program is strongly rooted in executive education not only to educate and equip our Fellows for their next career but also to provide a learning opportunity to our Employer Partners. Even the extent of their formal education is unknown to most employers. Once an Employer Partner, our Fellows will deliver a presentation to your organization outlining the technical experience and training that are very common among members of the Special Operations community.

Coffee ConvoThe Honor Foundation is not promoting caffeine (although we sure use it a lot) what we are promoting are casual conversations to take place between our Fellows and a representative from your organization. We want our Fellows to gain as much insight into potential careers and companies as possible. These one -on- one meetings are informal and can be arranged at any local venue. On Site InterviewsThe Honor Foundation allows for Employer Partner’s to utilize our unique space within The Rady School of Management and Tidewater Community College to interview any one of our Fellows. We understand that not all organizations understand their hiring needs during our scheduled programs and that additional hiring needs may surface on a moments notice. No matter what your situation, The Honor Foundation is here to make the connection between your organization and our Fellows as easy as possible. The

Hosting a Job Fair? Let us Know!If our Employer Partners are hosting a job fair please contact us! It is our duty to connect our Fellows with as many employment related opportunities as possible. If you are hosting an event and wish for our Fellows to attend, Employer Partner’s must send us detailed information regarding the event schedule a month in advance. Event announcements that are not submitted within a months time may delay our press release to our current Fellows and recent Alumni Fellows.

Informational Interview (Virtual or Not) with THFOur Employer Partner’s are encouraged to remain connected with each new class that enters into our program. By connecting with THF and arranging an informational interview our Employer Partners will have the opportunity to speak with a perspective hire or just to interact with our Fellows. Having a first look at our candidates by way of informational interviews is a very effective way to recruit our Fellows and experience our unique transition program.

Video ConferenceOur state of the art facilities within the Rady School of Management and Tidewater Community College will allow real time conversations to take place with our Fellows, faculty, & Employer Partner representatives from anywhere in the world. We have had Employer Partner’s conference into our courses from their offices/homes in order to participate in our executive education courses taking place at The Honor Foundation. This is a great way to interact with our program no matter where you are in the world!

This unique TED-like talk series invites four driving forces of innovation to the stage at UCSD Rady School of Management and Tidewater Community College.
