It is a fine sight to see the evening sunlight suddenly strike the leafy declivity at the Castle's base and dash up it and drench it as with a luminous spray, while the adja- cent groves are in deep shadow. What is offered?

¨ 3 hour guided tour of the old town of Heidelberg as

well as the castle ruin in the morning

Optional you can choose of the following addi-

tional activities. Please notice that the costs of

these options are not included in the excursion’s

price of 16€!

¨ optional wine tasting of three different regional

wines in front of the castle ruin (additional cost of

7,50 €)

¨ optional visit to the University museum (including the old great hall and the student prison

(“Studentkarzer”) (cost: 3 €), the German Packaging Museum (cost: 3,50 €) or the German Phar-

macy Museum (no extra cost) in the afternoon

¨ Have you ever eaten a German beef olive (“Roulade”) or German pasta (“Spätzle”)? Before

heading back to Karlsruhe we would like to invite you to join us on a typical German dinner

(additional cost of about 15 €)

What will it cost? The price depends on the number of participants. It will be

about 16 € including the train ride (to and from), the 3 hour guided tour as well as

the entrance fee to the castle ruin and German pharmacy museum.
