Shelley Mann, 2013 President of the Victoria Real Estate Board, says that economic indicators all predictslow growth for local real estate sales with modest price increases of just under 2%. “We saw the overallnumber of sales decrease by 10% in 2012, but prices remained relatively stable in all categories,” Mannnotes. “When reviewing bank, CMHC and real estate association’s forecasts, we predict slow growth for2013. While pricing always varies by specific neighbourhoods, overall we should see about a 1.8% in-crease.”
