HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MYRA AND RILEY OUR SPECIAL BURBRIDGE

STUDENTS, WHO WILL BE CELEBRATING THEIR BIRTHDAYS OVER THE NEXT

FORTNIGHT OF JUNE, WISHING YOU BOTH A GREAT DAY!

On Wednesday this week we were visited by an Eagles Rock My School team and accompanied of course by

everyone’s favourite mascot Rick The Rock Eagle. This year’s presentation focused on choices and their

consequences, healthy lifestyles and inclusive behaviours, giving everyone the chance to belong. Our

students enjoyed watching Rick the Rock Eagle dance and many had their photo taken with him. There will

be two follow-up visits by an Eagles Rock My School team member or West Coast Eagles player to conduct

some fun football activities.

FRIDAY 8TH JUNE 2018

Last week we started our weekly excursions that we have been waiting to go

on for so long. Everyone in the class was excited about going on an adventure.

We went to Alexander Heights Shopping Centre to buy ingredients for our cooking. On the

way the students were practising tagging on and off the bus using their SmartRider and

sitting quietly on the bus. In the shopping centre they had to look for ingredients we

needed for our cooking and pay for the items at the cashier.

As we plan to go shopping each week throughout the year, it will be a great experience for the students to practise their travelling and shopping skills.
