News from the Principal PRINCIPAL’S AFTERNOON TEA

This Thursday, 1st December 2016, selected students from each class have been invited to attend a special afternoon tea with their parents and myself to congratulate each of them for being outstanding role models for William Bayldon Public School.

LEADERS THANK YOU LUNCH

Our Captains and Vice Captains have been outstanding leaders this year and it was a pleasure to take them out for a celebration lunch today to say thank you. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Boadhi, Jovian, Molly and Ja-Lissa, and know that they will continue to shine as leaders in future years.

EARLY BIRD PROGRAM

We have enjoyed getting to know our Early Birds this year! We know they have enjoyed getting to know William Bayldon Public School too. Last week they had a great time with KE leaders showing them play based learning. This week is the final week of Early Birds. We invite everyone to attend our morning assembly this Friday to watch our Early Birds receive their certificates. We also invite Early Bird parents and carers to join us for a welcome to our school morning tea following the assembly.

CELEBRATION SOCIAL DANCE

Our end of year social dance will be held on Friday,16 December, the last day of school. This is a great event for all our students, and we invite parents and carers to join us as well. Adrian Penny will be our DJ on the day. More details will be sent home closer to this event. The theme for the dance is ‘Celebration!’

PARENT MEETING FOR KINDERGARTEN 2017

Parents of Kindergarten children starting at William Bayldon in 2017 are invited to an informal morning tea this Friday at 9.15am to 10am.

This is an opportunity for our parents to have a chat with the principal, Sally Ryan, and Assistant Principal, Kim Attenborough, about what they want for their children in their education.

JUSTICE OF THE PEACE

Stephen and Denise Hudacek (Grandparents of one of our students) are both JP’s. They have offered their services to the school community both morning and afternoon, around drop off and pick up time. They can also be contacted on

Parents please be advised that the canteen is unable to cut up fruit brought from home.

P&C CHRISTMAS RAFFLE DONATIONS

The P&C are kindly asking for donations for our upcoming Christmas Raffle. Anything big or small would be greatly appreciated. Donations need to be new goods that have not been opened. Thank you.
