Fine Gael Senator for Dublin South-West, Cáit Keane, welcomed the announcement by the Minister for Education & Skills, Ruairí Quinn, that the Government is to start a further initiative to replace prefabs in schools with permanent classrooms. As part of this initiative, three national schools in the Tallaght area, St. Mark’s, St. Brigid’s and St. Aidan’s, are to receive new accommodation in 2013 and 2014. €15 million has been allocated in 2013/14 to replace prefabs and provide permanent resource rooms and classrooms for some 2,650 students. Forty-six schools, with 115 prefab units, will be offered grants to provide the new facilities.

“I am very pleased by today’s announcement of a €15 million funding initiative that will benefit three Tallaght national schools at a time when it is much needed. This follows on from the success of the 2012 scheme which provided funding for the replacement of over 458 prefab units. The prefab replacement initiative last year has been a great success, with over €23.6 million spent to date, 30 projects completed, and a further 100 projects on site.

“This prefab replacement investment comes a week after the announcement of 28 major school building projects following the additional €50 million secured by the Department of Education and Skills as part of the Government’s “Investing in Infrastructure & Jobs” package. This will see 18 primary schools and 10 post-primary schools replaced or refurbished to provide state-of-the-art classrooms and facilities for over 12,000 students.

“Replacing prefabs offers better accommodation for students and savings for schools and the Exchequer, as well as providing

Keane welcomes announcement of €50M

allocation to repair 600km of road surfaces under

Government planconstruction jobs. We are clearly delivering upon our Programme for Government commitment to reduce reliance on rented prefabs in schools.

“In March 2012 when the first prefab replacement scheme was announced, a total of 1,543 prefabs were being rented in 591 schools. When these two prefab replacement initiatives are completed, we expect to have reduced the number of rented prefabs by 570 - a 37% reduction in the number of prefabs in our schools over just 2 years. Fianna Fáil’s disastrous policy of renting prefabs for our schools is clearly being dismantled rapidly by this Government.

“Savings of almost €5 million per annum on prefab rental will be achieved under the previous initiative, with a further saving of some €2 million from today’s announcement. Today’s

announcement will also result in the creation of an estimated 300 direct and 60 indirect jobs. Replacing prefabs is part of the Government’s €475 million education

infrastructure plan for 2014. This Plan will provide modern, high quality accommodation for pupils and teachers and construction related jobs for workers around the country.”

with all school activities.Mr. Keogh finished his address with a short story about a lady sitting on a large boulder at the seashore saving some shellfish before they were bashed against the rocks, thousands were being killed each second. A passing

gentleman remarked to her that she was wasting her time, what difference did she make since millions of shellfish were being killed every evening. She picked

up one and threw it back in as the tide went out.“Well! It made a difference to that one”, she replied. Mr. Keogh a staunch advocate of child-centred education remarked that in schools the same applies. It is not the numbers in a school that

matter but the education of each individual child, and, we must take particular care of the child withspecial needs.

Solas Chriost National School has its official opening day following majorrefurbishment works costing €4,000,000 on Friday last 21st June with 250 parents and teachers in the school hall. Bishop Eamonn Walsh blessed the school and both Minister Pat Rabbitte and Bishop Eamonn Walsh performed the official ceremony of cutting the ribbon.

The evening’sevents were launched by the Chairperson of the Board of Management Anthony Feeney. He spoke of the difficulties the school encountered with the main contractor, architect, quantity surveyor and Department officialsduring the refurbishment work.

Pat Keogh, Principal of the school echoed the words of Anthony Feeney. He gave credit to the priests of the parish of St. Mark’s, Fr. Pat and Fr. Paul and particular their predecessor Fr. FrankHerron who gave the school the local contribution of €32,000.

The Department of Education & Skills was also praised for giving €100,000 to allow the school finish the works – 15 local firms and individuals wereemployed to complete the renovation of the school.Mr. Keogh said that the school is now a beautiful modern school, 100%wheelchair accessible with a wheelchair W.C. and shower room. It has 30ct cameras, an excellent fire safety system, beautifully landscaped grounds, extended play areas. The school is also equipped with interactive white boards, i-pads, new furniture throughout and a committed and dedicated staff. He thanked the Parents Association and Board of Management, caretaker and secretary for their tremendous supportduring “the troubles” as he put it

Each of you parents in this hall is concerned about your one. That is the one that counts. We must make a difference to that one.

A teacher and a parent sang songs at what was a most entertaining evening with many children

displaying their talents in song, modern dance, gymnastics and Irish dancing.

A number of leading EUROSPAR retailers from across the country including County Dublin gathered at Killashee House in County Kildare recently for the brand’s annual 5 Star Awards ceremony, run by BWG Foods (owners and operators of the EUROSPAR brand in Ireland) in association with the Excellence Ireland Quality Association (EIQA).

The Awards, now in their 13th year, are the highlight of the EUROSPAR retailing calendar, recognising stores that excel across several areas of store performance. EUROSPAR Kiltipper received the prestigious 5 Star Award while also achieving special recognition for being a 5 Star Award winner for five consecutive years.

Congratulating retailers at the Awards ceremony, Leo Crawford, Group Chief Executive of BWG Group said: “EUROSPAR retailers are among the most experienced and successful retailers in the country, making a major contribution to both the local and national economy by way of their service to local customers daily, supporting local employment, and supporting hundreds of Irish suppliers. As independent business people, EUROSPAR retailers possess wonderful entrepreneurial spirit and we must learn from the best, for the collective development of the EUROSPAR brand and ensure that we continually improve our customer service.”

Willie O’Byrne, Managing Director, BWG Foods, said: “EUROSPAR’s group of independent retailers have become renowned for their pioneering approach to retailing, providing both essential and leading edge services and offers in their respective communities. There is no finer testament to this than those retailers who achieve 5 Star Awards. These Awards are aimed at improving store standards so that our customers can expect the same level of quality and consistency whatever store they visit, and I would like to congratulate EUROSPAR Kiltipper on this accomplishment.”

The EUROSPAR 5 Star Awards Scheme is a rolling scheme, which means participants are required to undergo rigorous year long assessments, involving unannounced audits and mystery shoppers from both EIQA and EUROSPAR. Stores are assessed across a range of categories that include customer care, shop presentation, food safety and retailing innovations.

The ISPCC are delighted to be a part of such an amazing project. We hope that people will see the opportunity as one of the ways to support our charity and that people will upload the widgets onto their sites. Adtruism is a social-tech start-up that allows anyone with a website or blog to effortlessly raise money for a worthy cause – without asking for donations. An Adtruism widget, once placed on your website, displays commercial advertisements and Adtruism (a non-profit) transfers 100% of the ad-revenue to your chosen charity. Student founder Brian McCormick hacked together a demo site in May of last year and got a great

supported by Social Entrepreneurs Ireland through their Awards program and will receive between €33,000 and €200,000 worth of funding and support this October. Adtruism also receives pro bono support from companies including KPMG and ZEDO. Worthy causes currently supported include the Make a Wish Foundation, UNICEF, and Doctors without Borders. SMILE Resource exchange will be holding a follow up event in Tallaght stadium on Thursday the 18th of July after its successful turnout of 50 businesses in Aprils event.

The SMILE events welcome businesses to come along and exchange surplus products, by products and reusable items in order to save money, help the environment by diverting waste from landfill and to identify new business opportunities out of turning waste into a resource.

Project Coordinator of SMILE Adam Shanley said “The follow up event will be a fantastic opportunity for businesses to reconnect with the contacts that they made at the main event in April and to re-establish the conversations about potential synergies that can be made. We are looking forward to showcasing some of the exchanges that have been successful and encouraging attendees to network at the event to create further opportunities.

Businesses attending this event will gain huge potential with regards saving money and turning wastage into a resource. In April’s event several major

smile resource in Tallaght stadium

companies attended such as IKEA, Pfizer, Early Childhood Ireland, Irish Ferries and Repak Recycling to see if other business could reuse there waste such as steel drums, sofas and chairs, IT equipment, wood pallets etc.

The last event was a huge success, 177 exchanges were made between companies. There were also several workshops in waste prevention, ECO-Design and energy management.

Since the rise of SMILE resource exchange it has identified over 2,000 matches between businesses as well as saving thousands of euros for the companies.

”The SMILES event was a great

success. It shows what can be achieved when local businesses and agencies work together. Of course, reducing cost while helping the environment is a powerful idea but it is still quite something to actually see it come to

fruition. I am delighted that the South Dublin County Enterprise Board got involved in this and it is a very good indicator of how the new Local Enterprise Office will work when the

Enterprise Board and the County Council are fully integrated later this year. Hopefully, this can become a regular event in the Dublin region”

Membership of SMILE is free of charge and businesses that collaborate often save a lot of revenue annually and also doing it for the environment will give a

business a good reputation.

The initiative is supported by the following organizations:

• Environmental Protection Agency

• Cork County & City Enterprise Boards

• Cork County Council

• Cork City Council

• Limerick/Clare/Kerry Regional Waste Management Office

• Limerick County & City Enterprise Boards

• Kerry County Enterprise Board

Love books? Like a challenge? Then we’ve just the thing for you this summer. Children all over Dublin are invited to join a summer reading challenge in a wonderful initiative from public libraries. Going Places with Books: the Summer Reading Buzz aims to encourage children to read in the long summer break when reading skills can decline without the regular reading activity at school.

Children registering to take part in the Buzz will be given a Summer Reading Buzz mem-bership card and asked to enter their name and library card number. Every time they read a book, their Summer Reading Buzz card is stamped with a specially designed Bee stamp. When they have completed the card (i.e. read 10 books) they simply hand the card into the library where it will be entered into a draw for fabulous prizes. There will be rewards along the way too with specially designed book-marks, pencils, wristbands and bee stickers.

All the libraries in South Dublin are participat-ing in the Buzz which was launched in Tallaght library on Monday 17th of June with the Minis-ter for Children, Frances

Fitzgerald. The minister spoke to the children from St Dominic’s school in Tallaghtabout the importance of reading and encour-aged them all to join the library and takeup the challenge.

For 173 years, the Dublin SPCA, Ireland’s oldest and largest animal rescue shelter and charity has worked tirelessly to make the pain and suffering of animals a thing of the past.

Every day of every week, we rescue animals from a lifetime of neglect, abuse, violence and pain. Our staffs’ and our volunteers’ continued commitment makes it possible for our life saving programmes; (including our very important free education initiatives) to create happy endings forthose innocent lives touched by cruelty. Sadly, as our economy continues to decline, many families are finding themselves no longer ableto afford the cost of pet care; while others who may become homeless are unable to locate pet friendly accommodation. In short, people are running out of options. This means countless numbers of companion pets are being abandoned on the streets, resulting inshelter intake being on the rise.

In response to this, we at the Dublin SPCA have intensified our efforts to drastically reduce the number of abandoned pets entering the shelter system and are actively assisting pet parents with affordable options through low cost spay/neuter programmes and subsidized veterinary care for those who are in receipt of social welfare payments. We do this through our four mobile veterinary clinics.

Here’s how it works:Our mobile veterinary unit visits four locations in the Dublin area, two on the Northside, (Ballymun and Coolock)

and two on the Southside, Clondalkin and Tallaght. As this affordable service is exclusively for pet parents who are in receipt of social welfare payments, and in order to make absolutely sure those who are in need of the service receive the service; proof of receipt of social welfare is respectfully requested upon attending the clinics. For more information regarding this service, i.e. fees, times, locations, etc., please log onto www.dspca.ie and click on ‘what we do,’ then click on ‘mobile clinics.’

Remember, tragedy can occur at any time, in any place; and, where all hope is lost, the Dublin SPCA can be found. With your help the Dublin SPCA can continue to make a difference to the thousands of animals that are at risk, by providing humane education programmes for children/teens as well as adults with regard animal welfare and responsible pet ownership; and provide rescue, sanctuary, treatment, love, care and adoption for those animals left behind.

Please join us and lend a hand to the ones who need it most – the animals with nowhere else to turn.

Legendary Japanese rock band Southern All Stars on Tuesday announced that they will reunite five years after they split. The announcement was such big news in Japan’s entertainment world that some newspapers handed out extras in front of train stations such as Shimbashi and Shibuya in Tokyo. The band announced they were splitting up in 2008 to pursue solo projects. Tuesday marked the 35th anniversary of the band’s debut.

Unacceptable waiting times for fixing “priority” problems in state government housing are putting residents’ at risk in their own homes, according to the WA opposition leader, Mark McGowan. Mr McGowan’s claims follow several recent cases in which state housing tenants have been forced to live in substandard conditions for up to six months at a time. Tammy Cummings had been living with family for six months with her three children after the home she continued to rent from the Department of Housing, was inhabitable, Mr McGowan said.

X Factor

Critics of former X Factor contestants beware. Anyone who considers contestants of the showto be one hit wonders should really reconsider, as Blackburn-born Diana Vickers, 21, proves some five years after appearing on the X Factor, she is still going strong. “It seems like such a long time ago now,” Diana tells a Uk Newspaper, “It was really tough, but was a great platform, particularly for the things I did later.” Diana followed her X Factor experience with a chart-topping single Once and an album, Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree.

Skate enthusiasts, the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Fran-ces Fitzgerald andlocal Councillors all turned out to celebrate the opening of the new Clondalkin Skate Parkby the Mayor Cathal King on Monday 24th June 2013.This important occasion also marked the launch of ‘National Recreation Week’ by Minister Fitzgerald.

South Dublin Coun-ty Council’s latest Skate Park is located in the grounds of the Clondalkin Sports and Leisure Centre and fea-tures a mix of bends and ramps to test and chal-lenge skaters of all skill levels.

South Dublin County Council, despite the eco-

nomic downturn, has continued to invest in youth programmes and modern facilities. This new Skate Park pro-vides a positive space for youth development

and gives young people a place to socialise and keep active.

Speaking at the opening, the Mayor of South Dub-lin praised the tenacity

of the founding group of skaters who got together and advocated for this new facility.

Cllr King said ‘I am delighted that young

people engaged with their local elected representatives andcouncil staff in the delivery of this project from the initial consultation phase and today we see the positive outcome of their input and hard work. I have been told that the Skate Park has the potential to become a local tourist attraction which will play host to visitors not only from the local area but from all over the Country’.The construction of the project took a month and was delivered on time and within bud-get. The project was co-funded by South Dublin County Council and the Department of Transport, Sports and Tourism.

From its inception 13 years ago, Fettercairn Youth Project has inspired hundreds of kids in Tallaght to go on and make a difference to their future aspirations and the local community. The project which is funded by Pobal is a great opportunity for Tallaght and offers an array of opportunities from Horse riding lessons, BHS and AIRE certified programmes, Stable Management Lessons, Pony Camp’s, Shows and Tailor made courses for groups. The youth project opened on December 14th 2000 in the presence of former TD Noel Davern at the Department of food and rural development in recognition of the commitment and work of the Fettercairn community. The aim of the community owned facility is to help develop the younger generations to improve their vocational, personal and social aspects. The 7 acre facility has very high standards containing an American style barn with 20 stables, an Olympic sized outdoors exercise arena, a training/lecture room, tack room, feed room and grazing area. All 20 horses are majestically fit and healthy and very tame as the kids prepare to take their stage 1 exams. They may then go on to teach and work with horses.

Ambitious and enthusiastic trainer in the stable Shane Kehoe (22) said, he feeds and grooms the horses, makes sure the stable and Olympic arena is safe and clean, exercises the horses and also teaches the kids a how to horse ride. “Before the project began Kids in the area kept Horses on this land which wasn’t very safe as they had their own make-shift stables, so this facility was built for the community.”

Shane has been working in the stable for 3 years and works in pretty much all areas of the building. “There are many aspects to this and great opportunities if you really love it and want to do it as a living. You could become an instructor or stable manager. There is just so much you can do with horse riding so career wise there are a lot of options.”“I only got into this 3 years ago and I’m still learning, my mind is still set here in the Fettercairn stable but in the long run I would love to go over to relations I have in Philadelphia. The Americans are still looking for Irish to come over and the money in it is great”

“Anybody interested can sign up and be a member, it’s here for the community so everybody is welcome, we do lessons here all during the week. “

HOROSCOPEAries – March 21 through April 20

Your home and private life is bursting with all kinds of positive energy. And so is your career and public life. The two often have you in the middle of a tug-of-war trying to find the time and energy to really focus on both of them the way that you would like to. Finding balance might not be possible. You might be better off just bouncing back and forth like a Ping-Pong ball. You are sometimes stubborn and grumpy about the situation, but mostly you seem exhilarated. You also get some lovely opportunities to sneak away for playtime, so you are not really overly stressed, just overly busy.

Taurus – April 21 through May 21

With all of the extremely positive energy happening within your social life, your children, lover, pets, hobbies, or “me time” could be suffering. Luckily, you find plenty of opportunities to combine activities and your relatives or neighbors are happy to help you juggle everyone’s needs. You are extremely busy, but not unhappy. And somehow, you still manage to find some quiet time for a little rest and relaxation at home. This is just what you need to keep your energy levels up so that you can continue with all of the social activities occurring. Get out there and mingle!

Gemini – May 22 through June 21

You are dealing with financial or romantic trust issues involving your friends, teammates, business colleagues, club memberships, and/or Internet entities. Whatever romantic self-esteem issues or financial challenges arise during this time can be overcome through the help of your job, coworkers, parents, or roommates. Both your “daily work” sector and your “home life” sector are blending beautifully with both of your financial sectors. Therefore, even though your social life and your finances are clashing, your professional life and your home life are doing quite well financially speaking.

Cancer – June 22 through July 22

You are encouraged to spend

a great deal of your time and attention focusing on having fun, falling in love, traveling, exploring other cultures, getting involved in political, religious, and academic activities, and spending quality time with loved ones. You are also meant to work towards achieving your financial and professional goals. There are times when your financial goals and your playtime goals clash, but that is to be expected, isn’t it? Just be aware of how much money you are spending when you are having all of those fun outings and try not to blow your budget.

Leo – July 23 through August 23

You are finding yourself in the mood to travel, explore other cultures, religions, political parties, and/or to go back to school and expand your knowledge of the world. This is great for you as an individual person, but not so great for your career. You might be better off doing some online traveling, studying, exploration, etc. and taking advantage of the lovely financial and professional opportunities flowing through your career at this time. The desire to broaden your horizons is not going away any time soon, so you could plan to squeeze bits of it in here and there as you find the time and freedom to do so.

Virgo – August 24 through September 22

All three of your people-oriented sectors are still working together and creating all kinds of lovely opportunities for partnerships, teamwork, friendship, community involvement, and spending time with your extended family. There are some unexpected financial or romantic trust issues arising from your social activities. and you could feel as if you do not have enough time to spend on your children, pets, lover, hobbies, creative projects, and whatever else makes you personally feel a sense of joy in life. It is not that your social life is becoming a burden, only that you have a hard time finding enough hours in the day to spend time with everyone that wants your attention this month.

Libra – September 23 through October 23

Your career is the source of great joy and great debate this month. For you personally, everything is going beautifully. Your wealth, work, and success sectors are working together on your behalf and helping you to focus on achieving your financial, professional, leadership, and productivity related goals. However, your partnerships sector and your private life sector are both clashing with your professional success sector. They might just be feeling left out as you focus so much of your time and attention on taking advantage of the opportunities showing up in your career. Or you could find that a rival is deliberately trying to get you into a home versus career battle that you cannot win. Do what you can to create balance between your professional life and your private life, just in case.

Scorpio – October 24 through November 22

As you begin focusing on your professional goals, leadership opportunities, and public reputation, you are seeing the value in being a great team player. You are still capable of achieving your moment in the spotlight, but you are not in a hardcore “me, me, me” attitude. You are being very open-minded, adventurous, and team-oriented. It actually helps to win you extra kudos.

Sagittarius – November 23 through December 21

Your home life has all kinds of positive romantic, financial, spiritual, and/or emotional healing activities occurring. You also have both of your financial sectors getting along beautifully with your bureaucracy sector and with your professional success sector. So, it should be fairly easy for you to enjoy your public and private life activities. Your financial goals are clashing with your playtime activities, but otherwise things are going really well at this time.

Capricorn – December 22 through January 20

Despite some issues at home and

some

problems involving

academics, travel, global awareness, politics, shipping, and/or the media, you and a spouse, best friend, or business partner are actually doing really well. Your partner is able to help you resolve almost all of these challenges. They join you in your travels, academics, political views, etc. The two of you are not going to agree about whatever it is at home that has you both so upset, but eventually it will pass. Mostly, it is your problem anyway and your partner is changing focus from worrying about what is wrong at home and beginning to focus on how to bring more financial and romantic stability into your private life together. Read more about what this month holds for Capricorn.

Aquarius – January 21 through February 18

Six of the twelve sectors (houses) in your chart are opposing each other at various times this month. That is a lot of strife in a lot of areas of your life. The good news is that most of the time these are short dynamics and you are able to work your way through them. Despite a huge amount of drama in your career or physical health, you are still meant to make some excellent progress towards your financial, professional, and/or fitness oriented goals this month. And you still find a way to spend quality time with a spouse, best friend, or business partner. You are an incredible juggling artist this month.

Pisces – February 19 through March 20

You and a partner or rival are not seeing eye-to-eye. However, you have quite a few fun, playful, social, and creative outside sources that are helping the two of you to work things out. Your finances are still taking a beating from all of your fun activities and summer splurging. But the good news is that you also have some lovely opportunities in your professional life to resolve your financial challenges. Read more about what this month holds for Pisces.

South Dublin County Council and Bel-gard Complex have teamed up to fully revamp the Community centre. Between the two a total of €210,000 has been spent doing up the 30year old centre.

Since the arrival of the new committee members Lisa, Annette, John and Paul the centre has really improved attracting more and more societies and clubs alike. Lisa Sinnott alsopraised the caretakers Mary, Terry, Willy and Christy who are hired through the governments CE Scheme.

The Belgard Complex itself also invest-ed €4,000 into giant Bouncy castles as they plan to host family fun days in the complex. One of the castles is a 54ft long obstacle course. The freshly revamped complex is also available to hire for events such as birthday parties. They also plan on setting up a pristine community garden within the grounds. This allows the already close nit com-munity to get closer allowing members of the community to plant their own flowers, trees and shrubs thus giving it a personal meaning as they may visit the garden and watch what they have planted blossom.

Belgard Comples committee member Lisa Sinnott said, “We set up a new com-mittee team and our first priority was to completely revamp the facility from top to bottom. So with the help of the council we got new windows in, re wired the whole building, new bathrooms were installed equipped with showers, a new dance studio was built in and we have classes varying from Ceili, Irish dancing, Zumba, ladies kickboxing, taekwondo, and karate. There is a bootcamp on Tuesdays and Thursdays which is very

popular. We also got a new IT room in consisting of 8 new computers. We have IT classes for local residents and they are really progressing with their computer skills.”“We also have a group in called the silver surfers who come in three days a week and they partake in several activities such as painting, darts, indoor and out-door bowling, goon trips and take computer classes. We have further objectives which we would like to achieve over the next year. We want to bring in new vending

machines, fit in a new eiling and repaint the indoor sports hall. Summer camp will be running for children from four years and up from the 29th of July till the 2nd of August.”

An annual outdoor event will take place in July which draws the local commu-nity

together for a day of fun, bouncy castles, live music and lots of sweets for the kids.

SPORT

The ISPCC’s charity White Collar Boxing event, ‘Panic at the Disco’, was held in the Dandelion Nightclub on Friday 31st of May. The night was a fantastic, adrenaline pumped success, which saw over €15,000 being raised for the society.

Twenty four amateur fighters went through six weeks of intense training in the National Boxing Stadium, under the watchful eyes of the Whitecollarboxing.ie crew. Fight Night, saw a crowd of over five hundred erupt into cheers, as the contenders paraded into the ring to Amhrán na bhFiann. A representative from the ISPCC thanked everyone involved for their training and fundraising efforts, the funds raised from the night are vitally needed to maintain the ISPCC’s many child

centred services. The ISPCC is one of Ireland’s oldest children’s charities, receiving less than 10% government funding annually and this year sees the ISPCC’s most well-known service ‘Childline’ turn 25.

The fighters gave it their all on the night, one of the female contenders Sharon ‘We Should Have Had a Bake Sale’ Kinsella commented that it was the “Scariest, friendliest, funniest, adrenaline pumped night of my life. Training was so much fun and I met some amazing new buds…I would recommend it to everyone, bake sales are so over rated!”

When asked how he felt after winning his fight Justin ‘The Joker’ Downey smiled, “It was a great night and a great experience and I got to make some great friends.

I’m so glad I did it.”

It was a truly memorable fundraiser and the fighters did themselves, their supporters and the ISPCC proud. In 2012 Childline received 771,301 calls nationwide, but due to lack of funding only 510,003 of these calls could be answered. The money raised from ‘Panic at the Disco’ will go a long way in continuing to fund the ISPCC’s vital services in Dublin and nationally.

If you wish to fundraise on behalf of ISPCC and Childline, give Rita in the Dublin office a call on 085 804 2730, or you can support Childline’s 25th anniversary by texting CHILDLINE to 50300 to donate €2, (service provider Like Charity), or donate now by logging onto www.ispcc.ie/donate
