St. Paul understood this clearly when he told the early Christians who sought to heal in the name of Christ to “let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” Learning to have and to practice having “the mind of Christ” is what Christian Sci-ence is all about.

In November of 2011, he began serving with the Conway church, in which he continues to labor to the present. Derek has spoken at various lectureships and gospel meetings through out the state. He regularly serves as a counselor and Bible class teacher at Ozark Bible Camp. In his spare time, Derek enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, watching sports, fishing, and playing golf.
