I will be returning to the classroom where I can resume my passion for teaching. It is a decision I have been prayerfully considering for a little while now. To the parents, I would like to express my appreciation for your support and encouragement during my 3 years as Head of Primary. I have enjoyed building relationships with you as we partnered together to nurture and guide your children. To the students, I am extremely grateful for the privilege of being your Principal. There are so many memories that I will cherish. I really look forward to seeing you all progress through your school years. The Primary staff is an exceptional team and it has been a pleasure to work with them. The dedication and love they have for your children is exceptional and I have really appreciated their support over the years. A Bible verse that has always inspired me, and would like to leave you with, is found in Hebrews Chapter 12 where Paul talks about running, with perseverance, the race marked out for us and fixing our eyes on Jesus the pioneer and perfector of our faith. I believe we all have a race to run. As we run to complete our race, make Jesus your guide and your support. Kind Regards, Darren Gynther It has been another busy term and we trust it has been positive and successful for your child/ren. You may have caught up on the news that we are searching for a new Head of Primary to commence in 2016. Darren’s passion for the classroom has drawn him back to teaching. He will be missed in the role, however will be welcomed into the classroom by the fortunate few who have him as a teacher. He is currently on Long Service Leave and has written the message below.

Darren Gynther - Head of Primary

Dear Primary Parents,

It is with sadness that I write to inform you

that I will be stepping down from the

position of Head of Primary at Mueller

College at the end of 2015. I will be

returning to the classroom where I can

resume my passion for teaching. It is a

decision I have been prayerfully

considering for a little while now.

To the parents, I would like to express my

appreciation for your support and

encouragement during my 3 years as

Head of Primary. I have enjoyed building

relationships with you as we partnered

together to nurture and guide your

children.

To the students, I am extremely grateful

for the privilege of being your Principal.

There are so many memories that I will

cherish. I really look forward to seeing you

all progress through your school years.

The Primary staff is an exceptional team

and it has been a pleasure to work with

them. The dedication and love they have

for your children is exceptional and I have

really appreciated their support over the

years.

A Bible verse that has always inspired

me, and would like to leave you with, is

found in Hebrews Chapter 12 where Paul

talks about running, with perseverance,

the race marked out for us and fixing our

eyes on Jesus the pioneer and perfector

of our faith. I believe we all have a race

to run. As we run to complete our race,

make Jesus your guide and your support.

Kind Regards,

Darren Gynther

Are you facing challenges that you’re struggling to make sense of? Are you experiencing life changes, transitions or

loss? Loss is something we all experience sometime in our lives. Loss isn’t just losing somebody close, but can

include loss of home, relationship, job, health, dreams and expectations to name a few. Counselling allows a safe

place to voice your thoughts, fears and feelings. Voicing them to another often enables you to see things from a

different perspective.

Friends and family members can be a great support to us, but are often unable to provide an objective point of view.

A counsellor won’t tell you what to do, but may help you consider choices, decisions and changes to enable you to

live your life more fully. Counselling doesn’t need to be long-term – in fact a single session may be all that’s needed.

Sometimes, though, more is needed over a period of weeks or months. We all differ, face different circumstances

and have differing needs, so respect and confidentiality are assured.

Mueller Community Church Counsellor, Jenny Billingham is available for parents, families, students and

staff at Mueller College. Phone 3897 2706 or 0427 876 396 for an appointment.

(Please leave a message if the phone is unattended) and your call will be returned at the earliest convenience).
