JULY HOLIDAY PROGRAM Its hard to believe that term 2 is over already. We hope everyone enjoyed their time at OSHC this term as much as we did and wish all of our families an enjoyable and safe holiday. Enrolments for the term 2 Holiday Program are now closed. Late enrolments will only be accepted where staffing permits and a $10 late booking fee/day will apply. If you wish to cancel any bookings, please advise us before the day of care to avoid a charge. Both excursions are full; those on the waiting list will be contacted if a place becomes available. Please make sure you read the holiday program each day to make sure your child is prepared for the day. Don’t forget, a packed lunch is required each day (unless otherwise specified.) Please ensure your child has appropriate footwear and a jacket for outdoor play. Snacks and a drink bottle are also recommended. Some important days to remember: CHANGE IN POLICY With the demand for care so high, it has become extremely difficult to accommodate the number of families requiring care on a casual basis. An amendment to the OSHC Booking Policy was ratified at the recent council meeting. This amendment now requires parents to cancel a permanent place for ASC by 10am on the day of care (not 12pm). This change will allow those parents who require care, more time to make alternative arrangements if a place is not available. The change will be effective at the beginning of Term 3, Monday 13 July. FEES & INVOICES Invoices for care in the week ending 21/06/2015 were emailed this week - payment is due by Friday, July 3. Remember that accounts can also be paid using bPay and Qkr. Any queries please contact Britt at the school office or email [email protected] CURRICULUM DAY CARE The curriculum day care program on Wednesday was fantastic. The children absolutely loved the excursion to Jump Crazy where they participated in a range of activities before enjoying a much deserved lunch. Those in centre also had a great day, baking with Heather, making jewellery and enjoying a fish and chip lunch. PREP-2 STAR REWARD SYSTEM Congratulations to the grade 1 students who were this week’s winners. Those who were in care tonight received their prize. We will catch up with those who were absent next week or aſter the holidays. WEEKLY LEARNER PROFILE WINNERS Congratulations to the following children who were nominated for awards this week. FAREWELL Today we said farewell to two children from our OSHC program. Kristen S and Daniel F will be attending new schools from next term so will no longer be part of our before and aſter school care program. We hope we might still see them during future holiday programs. We’re sure they’ll have lots of fun at their new schools and wish them all the best for the future.
