PAC Executive

We want to remind parents to be conscious of the environment when packing lunches. Last year, we were very successful in going to ‘litter-less’ lunches for our earth week festivities. Whenever possible, we’d like to continue with this trend.

Environmental and Safety We are complying with the

CRD ban on kitchen waste and as such, compostable bins have been placed

throughout the school.

S A F E T Y

A teacher is on duty at 7:45 a.m., therefore, students should not arrive before that time as there is no direct supervision. As well, students are not to enter the school building unless given permission by a duty

supervisor or teacher.

L O S T A N D F O U N D

Any clothing that is in the lost and found bin at the front that is not labelled will be donated weekly. Please label all your children’s belongings and check this bin regularly.

P I Z Z A D A Y

Our Pizza program is offered on Wednesdays, beginning October 7. This is a PAC fundraiser run by volunteers and Lakewood students. The cost of this lunch is $4 and includes a slice of pizza, a juice box and a fruit snack. For an additional $1.50 you can add a Fruit Kabob!

Pizza Day/Hot Lunches

H O T L U N C H E S

Hot lunches will be available once a month from a variety of vendors. The first one will be October 9. Fruit Kabobs are also available for an additional charge!

Please visit http://lakewood.hotlunches.net/admin/ to register and place your orders for both

pizza and hot lunch. You can pre-order for the year.

Note: Lakewood’s access code is LWHL.

If your child has food allergies we recommend you verify the ingredients directly with the vendor. Email the PAC for a vendor list.

Thank you for your support!
