Mrs. Coolidge used her position to promote many groups, including leadership and community service activities for boys and girls. The Erins Law website states that ldquoSchool districtsmust teach children to tell on anyone who tries totouch their private partsrdquo

ldquoChildhood sexual abuse survivor turned childadvocate and activist Erin Merryn works full-timetraveling the country asking legislators to introduceErinrsquos Law explaining why they should testifyingin front of state legislatures and serving oncommittees to draft Erinrsquos Law in each state thatpasses it She also has a busy public speakingschedule at schools and conferences nationwide

She began contacting legislators by letter from herhome in Illinois in 2010 about the need to passlaws to require school districts to teach age-appropriate child sexual abuse education toelementary school students school teachersadministrators and parents

She had been speaking at public events about theneed to protect children since 2005 after her firstbook Stolen Innocence Triumphing Over aChildhood Broken by Abuse A Memoir waspublished while she was just a senior in highschool about her own experiences with rape (by afamily friend from age 6-8) and incest (by a cousinfrom age 11-13)

After she was invited to meet with Illinois StateSenator Tim Bivins in April 2010 and he becamethe first sponsor of the law Erin then testified in theIllinois State Senate and House beginning hermany experiences testifying in State legislatures

ldquoChildhood sexual abuse survivor turned childadvocate and activist Erin Merryn works full-timetraveling the country asking legislators to introduceErinrsquos Law explaining why they should testifyingin front of state legislatures and serving oncommittees to draft Erinrsquos Law in each state thatpasses it She also has a busy public speakingschedule at schools and conferences nationwide

She began contacting legislators by letter from herhome in Illinois in 2010 about the need to passlaws to require school districts to teach age-appropriate child sexual abuse education toelementary school students school teachersadministrators and parents

She had been speaking at public events about theneed to protect children since 2005 after her firstbook Stolen Innocence Triumphing Over aChildhood Broken by Abuse A Memoir waspublished while she was just a senior in highschool about her own experiences with rape (by afamily friend from age 6-8) and incest (by a cousinfrom age 11-13)

After she was invited to meet with Illinois StateSenator Tim Bivins in April 2010 and he becamethe first sponsor of the law Erin then testified in theIllinois State Senate and House beginning hermany experiences testifying in State legislatures

ldquoChildhood sexual abuse survivor turned childadvocate and activist Erin Merryn works full-timetraveling the country asking legislators to introduceErinrsquos Law explaining why they should testifyingin front of state legislatures and serving oncommittees to draft Erinrsquos Law in each state thatpasses it She also has a busy public speakingschedule at schools and conferences nationwide

She began contacting legislators by letter from herhome in Illinois in 2010 about the need to passlaws to require school districts to teach age-appropriate child sexual abuse education toelementary school students school teachersadministrators and parents

She had been speaking at public events about theneed to protect children since 2005 after her firstbook Stolen Innocence Triumphing Over aChildhood Broken by Abuse A Memoir waspublished while she was just a senior in highschool about her own experiences with rape (by afamily friend from age 6-8) and incest (by a cousinfrom age 11-13)

After she was invited to meet with Illinois StateSenator Tim Bivins in April 2010 and he becamethe first sponsor of the law Erin then testified in theIllinois State Senate and House beginning hermany experiences testifying in State legislatures

The Erins Law website states that ldquoSchool districtsmust teach children to tell on anyone who tries totouch their private partsrdquo

ldquoChildhood sexual abuse survivor turned childadvocate and activist Erin Merryn works full-timetraveling the country asking legislators to introduceErinrsquos Law explaining why they should testifyingin front of state legislatures and serving oncommittees to draft Erinrsquos Law in each state thatpasses it She also has a busy public speakingschedule at schools and conferences nationwide

She began contacting legislators by letter from herhome in Illinois in 2010 about the need to passlaws to require school districts to teach age-appropriate child sexual abuse education toelementary school students school teachersadministrators and parents

She had been speaking at public events about theneed to protect children since 2005 after her firstbook Stolen Innocence Triumphing Over aChildhood Broken by Abuse A Memoir waspublished while she was just a senior in highschool about her own experiences with rape (by afamily friend from age 6-8) and incest (by a cousinfrom age 11-13)

After she was invited to meet with Illinois StateSenator Tim Bivins in April 2010 and he becamethe first sponsor of the law Erin then testified in theIllinois State Senate and House beginning hermany experiences testifying in State legislatures

ldquoChildhood sexual abuse survivor turned childadvocate and activist Erin Merryn works full-timetraveling the country asking legislators to introduceErinrsquos Law explaining why they should testifyingin front of state legislatures and serving oncommittees to draft Erinrsquos Law in each state thatpasses it She also has a busy public speakingschedule at schools and conferences nationwide

She began contacting legislators by letter from herhome in Illinois in 2010 about the need to passlaws to require school districts to teach age-appropriate child sexual abuse education toelementary school students school teachersadministrators and parents

The Erins Law website states that ldquoSchool districtsmust teach children to tell on anyone who tries totouch their private partsrdquo

ldquoChildhood sexual abuse survivor turned childadvocate and activist Erin Merryn works full-timetraveling the country asking legislators to introduceErinrsquos Law explaining why they should testifyingin front of state legislatures and serving oncommittees to draft Erinrsquos Law in each state thatpasses it She also has a busy public speakingschedule at schools and conferences nationwide

She began contacting legislators by letter from herhome in Illinois in 2010 about the need to passlaws to require school districts to teach age-appropriate child sexual abuse education toelementary school students school teachersadministrators and parents

She had been speaking at public events about theneed to protect children since 2005 after her firstbook Stolen Innocence Triumphing Over aChildhood Broken by Abuse A Memoir waspublished while she was just a senior in highschool about her own experiences with rape (by afamily friend from age 6-8) and incest (by a cousinfrom age 11-13)

After she was invited to meet with Illinois StateSenator Tim Bivins in April 2010 and he becamethe first sponsor of the law Erin then testified in theIllinois State Senate and House beginning hermany experiences testifying in State legislatures

Illinois became the first state to pass Erinrsquos LawFeb 14 2011 when Illinois Governor Pat Quinnsigned Senate Bill 2843 It became effective thesame dayrdquoemspThis Spring the ISRC Library order additional books andmaterials to support educators and families in teachingchildren of all ages how to say ldquoNOrdquo and how to report anyinappropriate behavior Here are some of the titles werecently acquired
