Nov. 20 – Depart USA for Tel Aviv

Nov. 21 – Arrive in Tel AvivWelcome to Israel! You will be met at the Tel Aviv airport andtransferred to your hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

Nov. 22 – Sea of Galilee, Mt. of Beatitudes, Capernaum, Kursi,Jordan RiverToday’s sailing on the Sea of Galilee will help you understand thespecial place this lake had in Jesus' ministry. At the peaceful Mountof Beatitudes overlooking the Sea of Galilee, read the words of Jesus’Sermon on the Mount. In Capernaum, stand in the ruins of thesynagogue built on the site of the one in which Jesus taught. See theexcavations that include where Peter's house is thought to have beenlocated. Continue to Kursi, considered part of the region of theGadarenes in Christ's time, and remember where Christ cast thedemons into the swine. Finish the day at the Yardenit Baptismal Siteof the Jordan River where you can renew your baptism.

Nov. 23 – Chorazim, Tel Dan, Caesarea Philippi, Golan HeightsToday experience Israel north of Galilee. Walk the streets of Chorazim,listed as a "city of woe" by Jesus. Continue to Tel Dan, one of ancientIsrael's boundary markers - "From Dan to Beersheba," and journey toCaesarea Philippi, where Peter proclaimed that Jesus was theMessiah. Travel through the Golan Heights and better understandtheir strategic importance to the security of Israel. This evening gatherwith your fellow pilgrims to share in the Thanksgiving meal.

Nov. 24 – Caesarea Maritima, Megiddo, NazarethThis morning travel to the Mediterranean coast at Caesarea Maritima,where Paul was brought for trial before Festus and King Agrippa beforeto his journey to Rome (Acts 25-26). See the extensive ruins includingthe ancient theatre and aqueduct. Travel the ancient caravan route toTel Megiddo, where 20 different cities lie superimposed upon eachother overlooking the plains of Armageddon. Visit Nazareth, theboyhood home of Jesus and stand on the Mount of Precipice, theplace where an enraged hometown mob attempted to throw Jesus offthe cliff (Luke 4). Return to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

Nov. 25 – Beit Shean, Jordan River Valley, Dead SeaBid the Galilee farewell as you travel south along the Jordan River. Yourfirst stop will be Beit Shean, a city continuously inhabited for over5,000 years, which was part of the Decapolis in Jesus’ day. Explore thetheater, Roman bath and colonnaded streets. Travel through theJordan River Valley, the route often taken by Jesus and other Galileansas they traveled to and from Jerusalem. Take an opportunity to floaton the mineral laden waters of the Dead Sea, whose buoyancy andmedicinal benefits are world renowned. Pass through the JudeanWilderness paralleling the ancient Roman road to Jerusalem for check-in to your hotel and dinner.

Nov. 26 – Mount of Olives, Palm Sunday Road, Gethsemane,BethlehemStand on the Mount of Olives, where Jesus ascended into Heaven fortydays after His resurrection and take in the remarkable panoramic viewof the city of Jerusalem. Walk the Palm Sunday Road down to theGarden of Gethsemane and pray among the olive trees. VisitBethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. Look out on the Shepherd'sFields, where angels spread the Good News.

Nov. 27 - Mount Zion, Upper Room, King David's Tomb,House of Caiaphas, Southern Steps, 1st Century Model CityJourney to Mt. Zion to stand in the Upper Room, revered as the placeof the Last Supper and view the traditional site of King David’s Tomb.Walk through some of the ancient rooms in the House of the HighPriest Caiaphas. It was here that Jesus was held overnight before Hiscrucifixion. At the Davidson Center, sit on the 2,000-year-old SouthernSteps that once led into the Herodian Temple complex on the TempleMount. At the First Century Model of the City of Jerusalem, gain abetter understanding of the Jerusalem at the time of Christ.

Nov. 28 – Old City, Pool of Bethesda, Via Dolorosa, Cardo,Gordon's Calvary, Garden TombWalk through portions of the Old City of Jerusalem and visit the Poolof Bethesda, where the man who was sick for 38 years was healed onthe Sabbath. See some of the streets known of the Via Dolorosa, andwalk along the Cardo, the ancient marketplace where sights andsounds of modern shops mingle with ruins dating back to the Judeanmonarchy. Reflect on the agony of the cross at Gordon’s Calvary, andat the Garden Tomb, experience the exhilaration of Jesus’resurrection.

Nov. 29 – Return to the USAReturn home with a transformed faith and memories to last a lifetime!
