Isoinertial Training & Rehab The Italian National Olympic Committee, founded in 1914 and a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), is responsible for the development and management of sports activity in Italy. DESMOTEC’s Staff was recently present, in the month of March, at the World Cup women’s foil “Inalpi Trophy”. The Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISi) is an organization founded in 1908 (under the name of Union Clubs Ski Italian) to promote winter sports and coordinate athletic activities in Italy. DESMOTEC is FIS official supplier for the training of athletes of the Italian Alpine skiing, which is divided into four disciplines (downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom), plus the combo, which combines a test of descent and a slalom, and super combined, which combines a first run of short downhill or super-G and slalom a second. DESMOTEC is official supplier of Fipav (Italian Volleyball Federation) for the isoinertial training of athletes of the Italian National Volleyball. FIPAV is the sporting body affiliated to the designated Olympic Committee to promote the practice of volleyball and beach volleyball and coordinate their activities in amateur competitions and national character. Aspire Academy is a sports academy based in Qatar, founded in 2004 with the goal to scout and help develop Qatari athletes, whilst also providing them with secondary school education. The U.S. Ski Team, operated under the auspices of the United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA), develops and supports men’s and women’s athletes in the sports of alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, cross country, ski jumping, and Nordic combined. Since 1974 the team and association have been headquartered in Park City, Utah. These athletes represent the best athletes in the country for their respective sports and compete as a team at the national, world and Olympic level.
