ISO 7507 -4 Document - Revision and ballot comments- resolution completed. Document forwarded for

processing toward publication.

New work proposal has been submitted for approval in revising tank calibration standards on Horizontal Tanks

(12917 Parts 1 and 2) to include uncertainty analysis

Subject to approval of the new work items, next meeting is likely to be held in Vienna, Austria some time in

September 2009

In 2008 WG recommended that a revision

was not progressed, and the standard was

listed as confirmed instead. Due for next

ISO systematic review in 2013.

7507-6 TR/97 – Petroleum and liquid petroleum products

– Calibration of vertical cylindrical tanks

– Part 6: Recommendations for

monitoring, checking and verification of

tank calibration and capacity table

Published as a type 2 TR on 1997-11-01.

TR withdrawn when incorporated as

Annex B of ISO 7507-1:2003.

Uncertainty analysis

NP (28/SC 3 N 696) results reviewed by

AG (see 28/AG N 203). WG 1 invited to

prepare a WD (Res. 7 of 28/AG N 206).

However, SC 3/WG 1 decided on an

alternative approach to include an annex

on uncertainty analysis in ISO 7507 Parts

1-3.
