Dr. Joey Navejar and Dr. Somya Mutyala celebrated their wedding in Houston. Joey is a former Flour Bluff student and his family traveled from the Bluff to attend the wedding. The couple met at medical school in Fort Worth and spent the last two years on the Island doing rotations at the local hospitals here. They now live in Wilmington, North Carolina where Joey will do a residency in Internal Medicine and Somya in Ob-Gyn. Photo by Mary Craft
The Splash Park at the Texas State Aquarium is now open just in time to escape the heat. Hours are 9am-6pm daily and the cost to visit the Aquarium which includes the park is $16.95 for adults and $11.95 for children.Photo by Mary Craft
