THE CONCEPT OF LEADERSHIP IN ISLAMAllah SWT says:
 م ك تا آ تا في م ك ت ك م ت ل ت تا ت ت ت م ت ت م ت م ك ت م ت ت! ت ت ت" ف# م ت%$ م& ت' ف) ت*ا ت+ م ك ت ت ت ف-ي . ت ت ك/ ت"م ف1 ت. م ك2 ت3 ت ك4 5. ت ف6 ت" ف7 ت8ا ف م ك! ف:ي ت; ت> . ت ت ت.= ف6
"It is He Who hath made you (His) agents, inheritors of the earth: He hath raised you in ranks, some above others: that He may try you in the gifts He hath given you: for thy Lord is quick in punishment: yet He is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful" (Al-An'âm 6: 165)
THE ISLAMIC LEADERSHIPThe goal of a conventional leader is to solve the problem and when the strategy taken for solution becomes fruitful, it does not bother whether the policy is harmful for the others or not. The Islamic leadership however, seeks the interest of the group and considers the humanity and the satisfaction and pleasure of Allah the Almighty.
Therefore, Islamic leadership views itself as a sacred position that can solve the problems of humanity and guide them to the eternal betterment of here and hereafter. It is a person or a group of people who guide and lead the followers, the humanity from the brink of destruction to the way of Allah.
