Message from Secretary’s desk……It gives me an immense pleasure to pen a few words as
prologue to our in-house Newsletter exclusively meant for
faculty and students churning out the achievements and
events held towards lateral and horizontal growth of this
great good old institution.
Empowerment of students for their all round development
through education is our cherished motto. Today education
means much more than merely acquiring knowledge. It is
acquisition of knowledge and skills, building character and
improving employability of our young talent, and building
leadership qualities. I am sure, being NAAC accredited
Autonomous institution, we inherited a strong foundation
to march ahead and achieve the within mentioned
education objectives for a stronger and brighter India.
Measures initiated by the Management, steps taken by the
college administration, the willing contribution of the
teaching and non-teaching staff and over whelming
response and enthusiastic participation of the students in
the college activities in the recent past all vouch for this.
When all the constituents come together and work in
unison, the expected results are bound to flow. Come on,
let’s give our best and make this institution a forerunner of
learning through our diligence, devotion and dedication. I
congratulate all the contributors and the editorial board for
bringing out such a beautiful Newsletter.
Wishing you all the best…!
L.M. Muneer Ahmed
It gives me great pleasure in bringing out the college half
yearly Newsletter successfully. It reflects the activities
going on in the campus, faculty participation in
seminar/workshop and research contribution of students
and faculty members. Our Institution is empowered with Hi-
Tech communication system and the state-of-art facilities
provide quality education to students. The College’s
SWAYAM PRABHA is now available to students’ higher
learning and Go Green Energy is now ready in the campus.
At Islamiah College, we are always on the move- be it
hosting college’s wide academic events and conferences.
You will also see our students undertaking class activities
or industrial trips, participating in Inter-college events,
winning awards, getting placed in best companies,
engaging in guest lectures and workshops. And we do all
this with panache. Since there is so much happening at our
ever-on-the move college, we wanted to capture all the
activity and memories in this Newsletter. Browse through
our routines to get a flavor of what Islamiah is offering. We
promise an enriching roller-coaster experience which you
will cherish long after. The students actively participated,
acquired manifold values and imbibed the skill of learning
by doing through various club activities. Many students
also won laurels at various levels in academic activities.
Our faculty members also won laurels by their exemplary
achievements. Two of our faculty members visited foreign
countries to share their research experience. I
congratulate the members of editorial board and wish for
the bright success of “College Newsletter”.
Dr. T. Mohamed Ilyas Editor’s note……..With a purpose of presenting all the enhanced academic
activities held in a marked period of time, we are coming
forth with our half yearly newsletter to help our readers to
embark upon the bandwagon of informative, educative and
creative impulses. Continuing with the Management
concern, the Editorial Board has again assembled a diverse
group of articles that provide something of interest to our
varied readers. This new session was characterized by a
large number of intense and rewarding activities. The
College is accomplishing all the activities with finesse and
excellence and touching commenting heights in all the
spheres. I am pretty hopeful that the reading would be
rewarding to the readers of “College Newsletter”as it would
serve as a verdant landscape of scientific, technical and
literary outpourings that support teaching and research for
the sake of exposure and expansion. We have put quite
some effort in this Newsletter in the last couple of months,
and hope that my ever improving skills as Editor provide
the enjoyment and learning that have our readers looking
forward to each issue. The Editorial board would like to
thank everyone for his unstinting support, valuable
insights, encouragement and efforts to help “College
Newsletter” come alive.
