KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR FULFILMENTS

SOCIAL IMPACTThere is no direct data for the social impact of martial art practice with literacy

levels, poverty reduction and reduction of crime rates. However a relation can be form when several data were taken into context.

Based on researches1,2, martial art improved the practitioner's health status, regardless of any kind and even practitioner's condition early on. This is related to the relation between literacy level and health status. Researches3,4 findings shows that literacy level is directly related to the health level. High literacy is associated with healthy status and low literacy is associated with adverse health status.

Based on Simmon’s Market Research5, the median income of the adults most likely to practice martial art is between $167 000 to $48 000 with age between 33 – 45 years old. These were above poverty level in which are $23,492 a year for a family of four6. However, these does not mean only medium to high income person can practiced martial art. The below poverty can also gain opportunity by joining martial art practice since it will change their world view7.
