Ishhan Nigohosyan is the most famous, interest ing and curious artists - humorists of Bulgar ia. His drawings and paintings, which almost always l ies jokes idea, intel l igently and clever ly designed, are as warm bites laughter . Often this laughter touches satire , and sometimes romantic - erotic beginning, t inged with sentimental ity.

Although laughter is the main weapon and career of the artist , he never abused it , i t degrades to empty and inappropriate g iggle . In Ishhan everything is e legant, styl ist ical ly pleas ing, with an expression of high culture and understanding, with a goodness of laughter , a wonderful stroke of drawing and with a bri l l iant sense of humor.

Ishhan Nigohosyan (Shani ) was born on May 8, 1950 in Sofia. In 1966, only 16 years old, pr inted his f i rst cartoon in the newspaper "Secondary school f lag " . He has numerous publications in various newspapers. His works are mainly in the zhivopisatirata, graphics and caricature . His cartoons have been published in newspapers "Secondary school f lag" , "People 's Youth" and "Hornet" and the magazine "Cartoon" . He has won numerous awards from various competitions in Canada, Turkey, Germany and Bulgaria, inc luding f irst pr ize in the cartoon exhibition "Man and the car . " His first solo exhibition was in 1981, has partic ipated in many exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. His works are owned by private col lectors from USA, Germany, Canada, Belgium, France, Spain and Switzerland. Regular partic ipant in exhibit ions and workshops on "Zhivopisatira" in Sofia, Gabrovo and Gorna Oryahovitsa.In July 2004, the exhibit ion "Painting-Satire " , organized by UBA, Ishhan Nigohosyan awarded first pr ize for kinetic work "Crazy picture " that creates together with Emil Lazarov.It is inc luded in the art pro ject "Bulgarian authors" . One of his last exhibitions to date was in 2011 in the gal lery "Punto Art Bazaar" and is dedicated to the most constant theme in his work - "Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. "
