Your detailed review of this Exhibitor Service Manual is essential to your success as an exhibitor.

Payment Terms

Payment for Services: J&J Exhibitors Service requires payment in full, including any applicable tax, at the time services are ordered. Further, J&J Exhibitors Service requires that you provide a credit card authorization with your initial order. For your convenience, we will use this authorization to charge your account for services, which may include labor, material handling, or any applicable charges.

Should there be any pre-approved unpaid balance after the close of the show; terms will be net, due and payable in Chicago, Illinois upon receipt of invoice. Effective 30 days after invoice date, any unpaid balance will bear a finance charge at the lesser of the maximum rate allowed by applicable law, or 1.5% per month, which is an annual percentage of 18%, and future orders will be on a prepaid basis only. If any finance charge hereunder exceeds the maximum rate allowed by applicable law, the finance charge shall automatically be reduced to the maximum rate allowed, and any excess finance charge received by J&J Exhibitors Service shall be either applied to reduce the principal unpaid balance or refunded to the payer. If past due invoices or invoice balances are placed with a collection agency or attorney for collection or suit, exhibitor agrees to pay all legal and collection costs. These payment terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois. In the event of any dispute between the exhibitor and J&J Exhibitors Service relative to any loss, damage, or claim, such exhibitor shall not be entitled to and shall not withhold payment, or any partial payment, due to J&J Exhibitors Service for its services, as an offset against the amount of any alleged loss or damage. Any claims against J&J Exhibitors Service shall be considered a separate transaction, and shall be resolved on its own merits.

Discount Prices: To qualify for discount pricing, orders must be received with payment on or before the discount price deadline(s). Orders received without advance payment or after the deadline date will incur additional charges as indicated on each order form.

Method of Payment: J&J Exhibitors Service accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa, check and bank wire transfer. Purchase orders are not considered payment. All payments must be made in U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. Bank. Exhibitors will be charged a $50.00 fee for returned NSF checks and at $25.00 fee for all declined credit cards. If exhibitor provides a credit card for payment and charges are rejected by the exhibitor’s credit card company for any reason, J&J Exhibitors Service hereby provides notice that it reserves the right, and exhibitor authorizes J&J Exhibitors Service, to continue to attempt to secure payment through that credit card for as long as unpaid balances remain on the exhibitor’s account. J&J Exhibitors Service will charge a convenience fee for each request to reprocess payment to an alternate credit card in order to cover incremental processing costs. An alternate credit card is a credit card different than the one used to process your initial payment in accordance with J&J Exhibitors Service payment policy. The convenience fee will be quoted at the time your request is made to reprocess payment. The convenience fee will be added to your account balance and settled utilizing the new credit card provided. J&J Exhibitors Service reserves the right to charge the exhibitor for the difference between the exhibitor’s estimate of charges and the actual charges incurred by the exhibitor, or for any charges that J&J Exhibitors Service may be obligated to pay on behalf of exhibitor, including and without limitation, any shipping charges.

Third Party Billing: Each exhibiting firm is ultimately responsible for all charges incurred on its behalf. J&J Exhibitors Service reserves the right to institute collection action against the exhibitor if the authorized third party does not pay. See Third Party Billing Request form.

Tax Exempt: If you are tax exempt in the state in which you will be exhibiting, you must provide a Sales Tax Exemption Certificate for that state. Please send the above information to the J&J Exhibitors Service office. Taxes vary by location and will be added to your invoice if you do not submit your tax exempt certificate with your initial order.

Adjustments and Cancellations: It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to advise the J&J Exhibitors Service Customer Service Center Representative of problems with any orders, and to check the exhibitor’s invoice for accuracy prior to the close of the event. No adjustments to invoices will be made after the close of the show. Please refer to the individual forms for labor and furnishings for cancellation fees. All orders canceled by the exhibitor or due to the cancellation of an event or their non-participation may be subject to cancellation fees equal to 50% - 100% of the total order, based upon the status of move-in, work performed and/or J&J Exhibitors Service set-up costs or expenses. A minimum non-refundable deposit of $25.00 will be applied towards the invoice, unless there is a cancellation of your order.

Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC)

A Non-Official Contractor is a company other than the official contractors listed in the exhibitor service kit which provides a service (installation and dismantling labor, florist, photography, audio visual, and other related services) and requires access to your booth during installation and dismantling. If your company plans to use a firm which is not the official service contractor as designated by Show Management, this form must be completed and returned to J&J Exhibitors Service, Inc.

Inform your Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) that they MUST send a copy of their General Liability Insurance Certificate no later than 30 days prior to the first day of exhibitor move-in or they will not be permitted to service your exhibit. This Certificate of Insurance must name J&J Exhibitors Service, Inc. as an additional insured. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to see that each representative of an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor abides by the official rules and regulations of this event.

This form MUST be received 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF EXHIBITOR MOVE-IN.

All Exhibitor Appointed Contractors must also provide a Certificate of Insurance to:J&J Exhibitors Service, Inc., naming J&J as an additional insured.

GENERAL QUESTIONSWho is J&J Exhibitors Service, Inc.? J&J Exhibitors Service, Inc. is a full service general contractor for trade shows, conventions and corporate events. We handle all aspects of an event including floor plan design, trade show decorating, custom design structures, graphic design services & production, custom carpet & furniture rental, staging, equipment rental, material handling services and more. J&J Exhibitors Service is a family owned and operated, certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) and we thank you for your support.How do I order equipment or services for a show? There are two ways you may place an order for an upcoming show. You may order equipment and services using our online ordering portal. You may also print the required forms and mail or fax them with payment to J&J Exhibitors Service, Inc.What is an Exhibitor Service Manual? An Exhibitor Service Manual is an event specific document which includes all show information you may need such as show hours, show colors, exhibitor move-in and move-out times, as well as policies and procedures of the facility. In addition, many other services are offered, such as material handling services, additional furniture, carpet and accessories for your booth, custom signs and banners, installation and dismantle labor, and much more. In most circumstances, you will also find forms to order electrical, internet and other utilities directly from the facility. Please keep this manual with you during the show and always have a copy of your order when you’re at show site.What is an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC)? If for any reason you do not use the services of J&J Exhibitors Service, Inc. and hire a Non-Official Contractor, the Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) form must be filled out, and a certificate of insurance must be forwarded to J&J Exhibitors Service, Inc. within thirty (30) days of your scheduled move-in date.

PAYMENTWhen do Discount Rates and Standard Rates apply?Discount rates apply to all furnishings and services orderedon or before the Advance Order Deadline date noted in your Exhibitor Service Manual. All furnishings or services ordered after the deadline are charged at the standard rate. Can I pay with a credit card? Yes. J&J Exhibitors Service, Inc. accepts payments made by check, American Express, MasterCard and Visa. A credit card authorization is required for all orders, even if you will be paying by check.Can I fax the order form? Yes, you may fax the “Recap of Services Ordered” form and the particular order forms to our office at 312.225.9873. All orders and payments must be received seven (7) days prior to exhibitor move-in to guarantee availability.Since I am not from the state the show is being held in, do I still need to pay tax?Tax is applicable to all exhibitors, regardless of their residence. Are prices of items daily or for the duration of the show?Unless otherwise noted, all rental prices listed are for the duration of the show and include delivery and removal.Do I have to pay in advance for services or can I bring a check to the show?Full payment must be received for services requested before the order will be processed. A credit card authorization is required for all orders, even if you will be paying by check.What if I overestimate freight handling charges or cancel items, and I’m due a refund from earlier payment?If you over estimate your freight and a refund is due, the refund will be processed immediately after the close of the show.What is the Third Party Authorization Form used for? Third party Authorization Forms are used when an exhibitor hires another company.FURNISHINGSWhat does my booth include? What if certain items I ordered are not in my booth when I get here?All items ordered in advance of the show should be in your booth space at the beginning of exhibitor move-in with the exception of floral, chairs and wastebaskets. These items are not dispersed until close to show time. If other furnishings (carpet, tables and accessories) are not in your booth at the time of your arrival, please visit our Service Desk and the problem will be resolved immediately. What if I get to my booth and decide I do not want an item, do I get a refund?If you have ordered an item or a booth cleaning service such as vacuuming or porter service and later decide you do not want the item or the service, there is a 100% cancellation fee for those items already delivered to the booth space or any cleaning service canceled at show site. A 50% cancellation fee will apply if the item is canceled less than seven days prior to the scheduled move-in date. Please note that cancellation fees for all other service including booth labor vary. Please refer to your Exhibitor Service Manual for cancellation fees of these services. Can I substitute an item that is included in my booth package? We are unable to substitute any of the items that the Association has contracted for your booth. If you need additional items you may use the order forms included in you Exhibitor Service Manual.What are Booth ID Signs? Booth ID signs are 7” X 44” card stock identification signs that typically include your company name and booth number. The Association supplies the company names to us.Do I need to order back drape and side drape for my booth space?Booth space is provided with 8’ back and 3’ side drape. You only need to order drape if you want to change from the color provided by the Association and such change is authorized by the Association. Can I order flowers or plants? The Exhibitor Service Manual will have a floral order form if floral is being offered at your specific event. If a form is not included, please contact us to discuss further options.How do I order cleaning services? The Exhibitor Service Manual will have a cleaning service order form if cleaning services are being offered at your specific event. If a form is not included, please contact us to discuss further options.CARPETIs carpet included? Each event has different criteria in regards to carpet. What if I ordered labor and no workers are in my booth at the time I indicated on my order form?If you ordered labor, the labor men must be checked out at the Service Desk at the scheduled time. If you are late, penalties do apply to ensure the starting and stopping times. Can J&J Exhibitors Service set up my booth at other trade shows I participate in?Yes, we would be happy to help. Please talk to a J&J Exhibitors Service representative for details. UTILITIESHow do I get an electrical service? The order form for electrical service is included in your Exhibitor Service Manual and should be sent directly to the provider. How do I get telephone/internet/WiFi service? These utilities are typically handled by the facility where the show is located. You should find a form in the Exhibitor Service Manual, which should be sent directly to the facility.

DRAYAGE/MATERIAL HANDLINGWhat is Drayage/Material Handling? Drayage/Material Handling is the delivery of exhibit materials from the loading dock to your assigned booth space, removing and storing empty crates or boxes, returning crates or boxes at the end of the show for re-packing, and delivering materials back to the loading dock for carrier pick up. There is a charge for drayage/material handling that is incurred by shipping to our advance warehouse or directly to the facility. Please see the Exhibitor Service Manual for rates.What is a CWT? Calculating material handling charges. A CWT is a unit of measure equaling 100 lbs and rounded up to the next hundred pounds. Example 2,500 lbs=25cwts. In most cases, J&J Exhibitors Service, Inc. charges a minimum of 200 lbs for material handling. The rates for advance or direct drayage/material handling services can be found in your Exhibitor Service Manual. Keep in mind all weights are rounded to the next cwt. Other overtime and special handling charges may apply depending on the show dates and delivery methods.What is Advanced Shipping? Advanced shipping is any shipment that is sent to the J&J Exhibitors Service, Inc. designated warehouse in advance of the event. If the freight arrives in our advance warehouse after the advance shipping deadline date, J&J Exhibitors Service, Inc. may impose a late delivery fee and other charges, if applicable.What is Direct Shipping? Direct shipping is any shipment that is shipped directly to the show site/facility. If shipping direct, your shipment must only arrive on the day of exhibitor move-in. If the shipment arrives prior to exhibitor move-in, the facility may refuse your shipment. Please note that each event and facility has different rules regarding direct shipments, including not accepting any shipments. Refer to your Material Handling Information/Rate Schedule in the Exhibitor Service Manual for specific event instructions.What if I miss the advance shipping deadline? If you miss the advance shipping deadline, you have two options. First, you may still ship to the advance warehouse but you will incur late charges and, if applicable, other charges. The other option would be to ship directly to the facility. Please call J&J Exhibitors Service, Inc. for more information concerning late shipments.What is rigging? • HANGING MATERIAL: Hanging of any item above the height of eight feet. This could include signs, banners or exhibit materials. This may involve the use of ladders, scissors lift or other machinery. Please note: Any items to be hung above eight feet, must be approved by the Association. Upon written approval by the Association, please contact J&J Exhibitors Service, Inc. to make arrangements for the installation and dismantling of your signage or materials. • MACHINERY RIGGING: Moving and spotting of heavy machinery or equipment. This will involve the use of a forklift and additional labor costs and both items must be ordered.Can I hire forklift services? The Exhibitor Service Manual will have a forklift order form if this service is being offered at your specific event. Terms and ConditionsJ&J Exhibitors Service Terms & Conditions are subject to change at J&J Exhibitors Service’s sole discretion without notice to any parties.

Definitions J&J Exhibitors Service is hereinafter referred to as J&J Exhibitors Service and/or J&J Motor Service and their employees; Agents: J&J Exhibitors Service’s agents, sub-contractors, carriers, and the agents of each; Customer: Exhibitor or other party requesting Services from J&J Exhibitors Service; Goods: Exhibits, property, and commodities of any type for which J&J Exhibitors Service is requested to perform Services; Carrier: Motor carrier, van line, air carrier, or air or surface freight forwarder; Shipper: Party who tenders Goods to Carrier for transportation; Cold Storage: Holding of Goods in a climate controlled area; Accessible Storage: Holding of Goods in an area from which Goods may be removed during shows; Services: Warehousing, transportation, drayage, un-supervised labor, supervised labor and/or related services; Show Site: The venue or place where an exposition or event takes place; Supervised Labor (OK To Proceed): Union labor that is provided to a Customer to install or dismantle a booth or exhibit space, and is supervised and/or directed by J&J Exhibitors Service; Un-Supervised Labor (Do Not Proceed): Union labor that is provided to a Customer to install or dismantle a booth or exhibit space and pursuant to Customer’s election is not supervised and/or directed by J&J Exhibitors Service. Customer assumes the responsibility and any liability arising therefrom, for the work of union labor when Customer elects to use un-supervised labor.

Scope These Terms and Conditions shall be binding upon Customer, J&J Exhibitors Service, and their respective Agents and representatives, including but not limited to Customer contracted labor such as Customer Appointed Contractors and Installation and Dismantle Companies, and any other party with an interest in the Goods. Each shall have the benefit of and be bound by all provisions stated herein, including but not limited to time limits and limitations of liability.

CustomerObligations a. Payment for services. Customer shall be liable for all unpaid charges for services performed by J&J Exhibitors Service or Agents. Customer authorizes J&J Exhibitors Service to charge its credit card directly for services rendered on Customer’s behalf after departure, by placing an order on-line, via fax, phone or through a work order on site. b. Credit Terms. All charges are due before Services are performed unless other arrangements have been made in advance. J&J Exhibitors Service has the right to require prepayment or guarantee of the charges at the time of request for Services. A failure to pay timely will result in Customer having to pay in cash in advance for future services. J&J Exhibitors Service retains its right to hold Customer Goods for non-payment. If a credit card is provided to J&J Exhibitors Service, J&J Exhibitors Service is authorized to bill to such credit card any unpaid charges for services provided to Customer, including charges for return shipping. Any charges not paid within 30 days of delivery will be subject to interest at 1 ½% per month until paid.

Mutual Obligation Indemnification a. Customer to J&J Exhibitors Service: Customer shall defend, hold harmless and indemnify J&J Exhibitors Service from and against any claims, lawsuits, demands, liability, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs, resulting from any injury to or death of persons, or damage to property other than Goods, relating to or arising from performance of Services herein. Customer agrees to indemnify and hold J&J Exhibitors Service harmless for any and all acts of its representatives and agents, including but not limited to Customer Appointed Contractors and Installation and Dismantle Companies, any subtenant or other user of its space or any agents or employees engaged in business on behalf of Customer or present at Customer’s invitation, including supervision of labor secured through J&J Exhibitors Service. Customer’s obligations under this provision shall not apply to J&J Exhibitors Service’s own negligence and/or willful misconduct. Customer acknowledges that the show site is an active work zone and customer, its agents, employees and representatives are present at their own risk. b. J&J Exhibitors Service to Customer: To the extent of J&J Exhibitors Service’s own negligence and/or willful misconduct, and subject to the limitations of liability below, J&J Exhibitors Service shall defend, hold harmless and indemnify Customer from and against any claims, lawsuits, demands, liability, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs, resulting from any injury to or death of persons, or damage to property other than Goods. J&J Exhibitors Service’s obligations under this provision shall not apply to claims for bodily injury arising a) from Customer’s presence in areas which have been marked as “off limits to exhibitors”; and b) when exhibitors are present in the facility prior or subsequent to the effective dates or hours of Exhibitor’s space lease with show management.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability Under no circumstances will any party be liable for special, incidental, consequential indirect or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits or income. J&J Exhibitors Service shall be liable, subject to the limitations contained herein, for loss or damage to goods only if such loss or damage is caused by the direct negligence or willful misconduct of J&J Exhibitors Service. Claims presented for loss or damage arising out of incidents referenced in section VI herein will be denied.

No Liability for Loss or Damage to Goods a. Condition of Goods: J&J Exhibitors Service shall not be liable for damage, loss, or delay to uncrated freight, freight improperly packed, glass breakage or concealed damage. J&J Exhibitors Service shall not be liable for ordinary wear and tear in handling of Goods or for damage to shrink wrapped Goods. All Goods shall be able to withstand handling by heavy equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, cranes, or dollies. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that Goods are packaged correctly prior to shipment or movement on or off the Show floor. b. Receipt of Goods: J&J Exhibitors Service shall not be liable for Goods received without receipts, freight bills, or specified piece count on receipts or freight bills, or for bulk shipments (i.e., UPS, air freight, or van lines). Such Goods shall be delivered to booth without the guarantee of piece count or condition. c. Force Majeure: J&J Exhibitors Service shall not be liable for loss or damage that results from Acts of God, weather conditions, act or default of Customer, shipper, or the owner of the Goods, inherent nature of the Goods, public enemy, public authority, labor disputes, and acts of terrorism or war. d. Cold Storage. Goods requiring cold storage are stored at Customer’s own risk. J&J Exhibitors Service assumes no liability or responsibility for Cold Storage. d. Accessible Storage: J&J Exhibitors Service assumes no liability for loss or damage to Goods while in Accessible Storage. Storage charges are for the use of space and are not a form of insurance, or a guarantee of security. f. Unattended Goods: J&J Exhibitors Service assumes no liability for loss or damage to unattended Goods received at Show Site at any time from the point of receipt of inbound Goods until the loading of the outbound Goods, including the entire term of the respective show or exhibition. Customer is responsible for insuring its own Goods for any and all risk of loss. g. Empty Storage: J&J Exhibitors Service assumes no liability for loss or damage to Goods or crates, or the contents therein, while containers are in Empty

Storage. It is Customer’s sole responsibility to affix the appropriate labels available at J&J Exhibitors Service Customer Service Center for empty container storage, and ensures that any preexisting empty labels are removed. h. Forced Freight: J&J Exhibitors Service is not liable for Customer Goods left on the show floor after the show closing deadline, with or without a Material Handling Services/Straight Bill of Lading signed by Customer. It is Customer’s responsibility to complete accurate paperwork for shipping and to ensure Customer Goods are properly labeled. If Customer Goods remain on the floor after the show closing deadline, J&J Exhibitors Service has the right to remove the Customer Goods. J&J Exhibitors Service is authorized by Customer to proceed in the manner chosen by Customer on the Order of Material Handling Services/Straight Bill of Lading, if one has been completed, or otherwise to ship Customer Goods at the discretion of J&J Exhibitors Service and at Customer’s expense. J&J Exhibitors Service shall incur no liability for such shipment. J&J Exhibitors Service retains the right to dispose of Customer Goods without liability if left on the show floor unattended, without labels or not correctly labeled. i. Concealed Damage: J&J Exhibitors Service shall not be liable for concealed loss or damage including but not limited to; glass, electronic equipment, prototypes, original art, uncrated Goods, or improperly packaged or labeled Goods. j. Unattended Booth: J&J Exhibitors Service shall not be liable for any loss or damage occurring while the Goods are unattended in Customer’s booth at any time, including, but not limited to, the time the Goods are delivered to the dock until the time the Goods are received by Customer’s chosen carrier. All Material Handling Forms and/or Straight Bills of Lading covering outgoing Goods submitted to J&J Exhibitors Service will be checked at the time of pickup from the booth and corrections to the count or condition will be documented where discrepancies exist. k. Hanging items from Booth: Customer shall not hang any articles, merchandise, product, advertisements, or other similar items from J&J Exhibitors Service supplied booth materials (this includes but is not limited to J&J Exhibitors Service panels or pipe and drape), utilized in Customer’s own booth set up or in areas occupied by the show organizer or third parties. If Customer does hang any prohibited items, Customer alone shall be held liable for any damages, costs, actions or injuries resulting from the hanging of such item(s). J&J Exhibitors Service shall have no liability for any damages, costs, actions or injuries arising out of Customer’s failure to comply with this provision.

Measure of Damage a. Sole Relief: If found liable for any loss, J&J Exhibitors Service’s sole and exclusive maximum liability for loss or damage to Customer’s Goods is limited to $.50 (USD) per pound with a maximum liability of $100.00 (USD) per container, or $1,500.00 (USD) per shipment whichever is less. b. Labor: J&J Exhibitors Service assumes no liability for loss, damage, or bodily injury arising out of Customer’s supervision of J&J Exhibitors Service provided union labor. If J&J Exhibitors Service supervises labor for a fee, J&J Exhibitors Service shall be liable only for actions or claims arising out of its negligent supervision. Such liability shall be limited to the cost to Customer of the supervised labor or the depreciated value of the Goods, whichever is less. If Customer elects to use unsupervised labor, then Customer assumes all liability for the actions or claims that arise out of such work, including but not limited to loss, damage or bodily injury and shall provide J&J Exhibitors Service and show management with an indemnity, including defense costs, for any claims that result from Customers’ supervision or failure to supervise assigned labor.

Miscellaneous a. Insurance. J&J Exhibitors Service is not an insurance company and does not offer or provide insurance. It is the obligation of Customer to ensure Goods are insured at all times. Loss or theft of the Goods in storage or in transit to and from the show and or while on the show floor is the sole responsibility of Customer. J&J Exhibitors Service recommends Customer arrange for all Risk Coverage. b. Notice of Loss or Damage: In order to have a valid claim, notice of loss or damage to Goods must be given to J&J Exhibitors Service or its agent within 24 hours of occurrence (as evidenced in an Incident Report completed at Show Site by J&J Exhibitors Service) or delivery of outbound Goods. c. Filing of Claim: Any claim for loss or damage to Goods must be in writing, containing facts sufficient to identify the Goods, asserting liability for alleged loss or damage, and making claim for the payment of a specified or determinable amount of money. Such claim must be filed with the appropriate party within the time limits specified herein. Damage reports, incident reports, inspection reports, notations of shortage or damage on freight bills or other documents, do not constitute filing of a claim. Claims for Goods alleged to be lost, stolen or damaged at the Show Site must be received in writing by J&J Exhibitors Service within thirty (30) days after the close of the show. Claims for Goods alleged to be lost or damaged during transit must be received by the responsible party within nine (9) months of date of delivery of Goods. J&J Exhibitors Service Logistics subcontracts the movement of Goods to third party carriers. Claims for damage in transit should be made directly with your carrier as shown on the Material Handling form/ Bill of Lading. In the event of a dispute with J&J Exhibitors Service, Customer will not withhold payment or any amount due J&J Exhibitors Service for Services as an offset against the amount of the alleged loss or damage. Customer agrees to pay J&J Exhibitors Service prior to the close of the show for all such charges and further agrees that any claim Customer may have against J&J Exhibitors Service shall be pursued independently by Customer as a separate action to be resolved on its own merits. J&J Exhibitors Service retains the right to pursue collection on amounts owed after show close, without regard to any amount alleged to be owed for damage, or loss. d. Filing of Suit: Any action at law regarding loss or damage to Goods must be filed within one (1) year of the date of declination of any part of a claim (logistics claims excluded).

Jurisdiction, Choice of Forum These Terms and Conditions of Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the United States or, alternatively, and depending on jurisdiction, the laws of the State of Nevada. The parties hereby submit to jurisdiction and venue in the United States Federal District Court of Illinois, or as applicable depending upon jurisdiction, the County Circuit Court in Cook County, Illinois.

Advanced Warehousing/Temporary Storage/Long Term Storage All terms and conditions relative to Advanced Warehousing/Temporary Storage/Long Term Storage are contained in separate agreements titled “Storage Agreement.” In the event that a Storage Agreement is not executed between the parties, the following shall apply with respect to J&J EXHIBITORS SERVICE’ liability for Customer Goods. The responsibility of J&J EXHIBITORS SERVICE with respect to Customer Goods is limited to the exercise of ordinary care and diligence in handling and storing of Customer Goods. J&J Exhibitors Service shall be liable only for loss or damage to Goods caused by J&J Exhibitors Service’s sole negligence. J&J Exhibitors Service’s liability is limited to $.60 (USD) per pound with a maximum liability of $100.00 (USD) per container, or $1,500.00 (USD) per shipment whichever is less. In case of partial loss or damage, the maximum liability shall be prorated based on weight. J&J Exhibitors Service is not responsible for any loss or damage to Goods caused by, but not limited to fire, theft, the elements, vandalism, moisture, vermin, mechanical breakdown or failure, freezing or charges in temperature, as well as any other causes beyond J&J Exhibitors Service’s immediate control. J&J Exhibitors Service is not responsible for the marring, scratching or breakage of glass or other fragile items. J&J Exhibitors Service is not liable for the mechanical functions of instruments or appliances even if such articles are packed or unpacked by J&J Exhibitors Service. In no event shall J&J Exhibitors Service be liable for special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages, including business loss of any kind, resulting from any damage to or loss of the Goods or from any act or failure to act. Customer pays storage fees or costs for advance warehousing for use of the space only. There is no guarantee of security or representations made by J&J Exhibitors Service as to appropriateness of the conditions for Customer Goods. The risk of loss remains Customer’s alone and J&J Exhibitors Service recommends the Customer carry and maintain insurance in amounts sufficient to cover its risk.

If you see something unsafe or which presents a hazard, please bring it to the attention of a J&J Exhibitors Service supervisor. LOSS PREVENTION GUIDELINES AT SHOWSITE• All exhibitors and attendees enter at their own risk. Do not enter the dock/yard areas.

• Only authorized personnel and employees are allowed, all others are prohibited.

• This is an active work zone. Please treat the show areas during move-in and move-out as an active construction zone. Appropriate attire includes footwear with hard soles that protects against potential injuries from site debris, and limits the potential for slips and falls. Heels, flip flops and open toed shoes are inappropriate and violate safety standards.

• Never run in the exhibit hall. Please walk. Watch your step in aisles.

• Electrical wires and cords can be hazardous if frayed or stretched over a walkway. Please check all cords for damages. Secure or remove any cords where you or others are going to be walking.

• If you spill something or notice a spill, clean it up or report it immediately.

• Protect your valuables while on the show floor. Please keep all expensive or valuable items secured. Unattended items in booths are easy theft targets.

• Use good housekeeping. Dispose of waste properly and keep materials stacked securely.

• Report any fires immediately or pull the nearest fire alarm. Please keep fire exits clear.

During move-in and move-out individuals under the age of 18 are prohibited from being on or around the show floor. Show sites during these times are similar to a construction zone and considered to be hazardous. OSHA regulations prohibit minors from being present in a hazardous work environment.

LIMITS OF LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY1. Cancellation: in the event Lessee cancels this order, Lessee will be charges a cancellation fee equal to 10% of one day’s rental of the subject equipment. Cancellation made within 48 hours of the delivery date will be charged a cancellation fee equal to one day’s rental plus handling charges.2. Risk of Loss: Equipment rental is the responsibility of Lessee. Any equipment, which is lost, damaged, or stolen while in Lessee’s care or possession will result in Lessee being charges for replacement cost, labor or parts for repair, as the case may be.3. Insurance for the subject equipment is Lessee’s responsibility.4. On location set-up and take-down by required union labor is not included in the equipment rental price.5. Payment tendered for the specified equipment with this reservation form is an estimate only and any changes in equipment requirements and any labor charges will affect this estimate. Lessee is responsible for all charges.6. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to advise a J&J Exhibitors Service representative of any problems with their order at show site. ACCEPTABLE FILE TYPES AND SUPPORT FILES

Our goal is to provide you with the best possible quality graphics for your event or exhibit. You can help us in that effort by providing digital art files using the following guidelines. If you are sending us completed, print-ready files, please pass the following information on to your graphics designer or art department. Two overall considerations for submitting acceptable artwork involves proper resolution or size of the file to avoid poor quality images, and proper color matching information and proofs to ensure accurate color reproduction.

RASTER ART (photos, logos containing any continuous tone images): • Art submitted at 1:1 (100%), resolution should be no less than 150 dpi (300 dpi preferred) • Art submitted at 2:1 (50%), resolution should be no less than 300 dpi (600 dpi preferred) • Art submitted at 4:1 (25%), resolution should be no less than 600 dpi (1,200 dpi preferred)VECTOR ART • Logos should be vector and have outlined fonts (if provided as bitmap, please use high-res images)FONTS and LINKS • Supply all fonts used in your design (zip Mac fonts). If unsure how to collect fonts, convert them to outlines • Supply all links used in your documents. Use packaging features if available. If unsure how to collect links, embed them in the file when saving.COLOR • If PMS color matching is required, please use original Pantone + Solid Coated swatches in your artwork. Modifying Pantone names will result in printing default color (CMYK) • CMYK artwork will be produced “As Is”. J&J Exhibitors Service, as the exclusive drayage contractor, will receive crated, boxed or skidded materials at the warehouse up to 30 days prior to show move in. Material Handling ChargesHandling charges are based on the weight of the freight. Shipments are billed by the hundred weight and rounded up to the nearest hundred. Minimum per shipment may apply, see enclosed material handling order form for details. Please prepay all shipping charges - J&J cannot accept or be responsible for collect shipments. Crated and uncrated shipments must be separated and clearly identified on separate bills of lading with separate weight tickets otherwise J&J with invoice the entire load at the uncrated weight.

Freight Carriers Select a carrier with experience in handling exhibit materials. Make sure to give your carrier explicit information as to where and when to check in. Delivery and pick up times are often out of the range of “normal” delivery hours, make sure your carrier is committed to meeting your target dates and times. Tracking Shipments Confirm your delivery date and time with your carrier, and have all the pertinent shipping information in the hands of your representative at show site. You may also want to review the return of your goods at the end of the show.

Inbound Bill of Lading All shipments must have a bill of lading or delivery slip showing number of pieces, type of merchandise and weight. A copy should be mailed along with the enclosed “Material Handling” order form. Shipments received without freight bills, or specified unit count on receipts will be delivered to exhibitor’s booth without guarantee of piece count or condition. For the safety of your shipment, small package shipments should be sent to the advance warehouse.

How to Ship in Advance to the J&J Warehouse • Remove all old shipping and empty storage labels. • Fill out and attach enclosed Advance Shipping labels. • Complete the enclosed Material Handling Order Form. • Remember to confirm receipt of your shipment prior to leaving for the show. • All shipments must have a bill of lading or delivery slip showing the number of pieces, weight and type of merchandise. • Certified weight tickets must accompany all shipments. • Take the time to ensure that your display and products are packed neatly and securely. • Do not ship uncrated materials to the warehouse. • For a rate quote please call J&J Exhibitors Service at (312) 225-3323.

Machinery Labor and Equipment Labor and equipment for uncrating, unskidding, positioning, leveling, dismantling, recrating and reskidding machinery and/or equipment must be ordered separately. Place your order for this labor using the In-Booth Forklift & Labor Order Form. If your material requires specialized rigging equipment, please notify us promptly so that we can make arrangements. When possible, supply your own rigging equipments with shipments and pre-rig your material.

Storing Empty Containers Properly labeled empty shipping containers will be picked up, stored and returned after the show. Labels are available at the J&J Service Desk and are for empty storage only. Depending on the size of the show,it can take from 2 to 12 hours to return empty crates. Do not store any items in crates marked “empty”. J&J has no liability for damage to crates or items sent to empty storage in crates. All empty containers will be collected on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 5:00 PM. Any additional empty containers left after this time will be collected and stored at the rate of $25.00 per CWT with a $375.00 per shipment minimum.

Outbound Shipments An outbound Material Handling/Bill of Lading must accompany all outgoing shipments. Shipping information, outbound forms and labels will be available at the J&J Service Desk. Exhibitors selecting non-official carriers will need to make their own arrangements for pick up. Make sure that someone from your company will be on-site to oversee the outbound shipment of your display and product. In order to expedite removal of materials, J&J Exhibitors Service reserves the right to change designated carriers, if such carriers fail to pick up or refuse to accept shipments. All exhibit materials must be dismantled, packed and a bill of lading submitted to the Exhibitor Service Center prior to 7:00 PM. Please notify your carrier to check in with J&J Service Desk by 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 9, 2019 to ensure all exhibit materials are removed from the facility on schedule. Any bill of lading submitted after 7:00 PM will be rerouted via the preferred carrier. Any carrier who checks in after 7:00 PM will be refused and the bill of lading rerouted via the preferred carrier. Applicable charges will apply and no liability will be assumed as a result of such rerouting.

Measure of Damage • Liability - J&J is liable for loss or damage to your goods only if the loss or damage is caused by J&J negligence. • Sole Relief - If found liable for any loss, J&J’s sole and exclusive maximum liability for loss or damage to customer’s goods is limited to $.30 (USD) per pound with a maximum liability of $50.00 (USD) per container, or $1,000 (USD) per shipment, whichever is less.

Insurance All of your goods should be insured by your own insurance policy. Although we do our best to handle your goods as our own, there are many variables in shipping and handling that can affect your exhibit and products. J&J has published J&J Terms and Conditions of Contract that are in this Exhibitor Service Manual. Please read them carefully. It is recommended that your goods be insured.

Work Zone Customer acknowledges that the show site and surrounding areas are active work zones. Customer, its agents, employees and representatives present at their own risk.

Material Handling is the unloading of your exhibit materials, delivery to your booth, handling of empty containers to and from storage, and removal of your materials from your booth for reloading onto your outbound carrier. This is not to be confused with the cost to transport your exhibit materials to and from the event.

showNets (Supplier) is the exclusive provider for wired and wireless network services at the Knoxville Convention Center. This includes all exhibit halls, meeting rooms, exterior areas and temporary structures. Only the company (its officers, employees and agents) that orders service is authorized to use the Internet connection. This service cannot be re-sold or distributed to any other company or individual. Our rates are based on a per device charge. Each device attached to the showNets network must pay for networking service. DISCLAIMER; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY; CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITIES SUPPLIER’S OBLIGATIONS UNDER THIS AGREEMENT ARE IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Customers/exhibitors accept responsibility to ensure that all of their files are adequately duplicated and documented. Supplier is not responsible for Customer's failure to do so, or for the cost of reconstructing data stored on disc files, tapes, memories, etc., lost during the performance of service under this Agreement. Supplier will not be liable for loss of funds contained in, dispensed by, or associated with any Services under this Agreement. Supplier will not be responsible for failure to provide service due to strikes or causes beyond Supplier's reasonable control. Services Order Request and Payment THIS SERVICES ORDER MUST BE RECEIVED WITH FULL PAYMENT AND/OR CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION TWO WEEKS PRIOR THE START OF SHOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE ADVANCED RATE. Orders received inside of the two week period will be charged the standard rate. Both wireless access and on-site orders will go through our automated system and will require a credit card for payment. For a wired connection, booth location and location of the Network Connection must be identified to process your order. All monies are collected by showNets. All requests for credit or refund should be directed to showNets. Credit can not be given for service installed and not used. Refunds will not be granted for service installed and deemed inoperative due to faulty exhibitor equipment or off-site service problems. A $50.00 service fee will be charged for all returned checks. Services Installation And Equipment Use For a wireless connection, the process is automated. Open a browser and enter the information requested, choose a service level and enter your credit card information. There is a $10.00 Service fee for all Manual Wireless transactions. For a private wired connection, you will receive access to the Internet via a userid and password for one device. If you order prior to the event, connect your machine to the Cat5 cable that is installed at your location. Open a browser and enter your userid and password to access the Internet. If you order on-site, connect your machine to the Cat5 cable installed in your location. Open a browser and enter the information requested, choose a service level and enter your credit card information. For a public IP wired connection, a printed copy of the full TCP/IP address information will be provided to you prior to the event to facilitate your configuration of the demonstration machine. To connect additional devices to the network you will need to order additional network connections. Please see the Order Form. Enter your IP information into your machine and then connect your machine to the Cat5 cable that is installed at your location. Keep in mind; the Internet is a public domain. We do not guarantee the performance of any connection outside of the facility. showNets has no control over nor is it responsible for the external network performance once the network traffic leaves the Knoxville Convention Center network and is received by the ISP’s POP router and beyond.. Sponsoring Organizations & their exhibitors may distribute SAMPLE food or non-alcoholic beverage products with written authorization ONLY.

General Conditions

Items dispensed are limited to products manufactured or produced by theexhibiting firm.

Distribution of any individually wrapped bite size candies does not requireany approval. (i.e. mints, jolly ranchers and so forth)

All items distributed are limited to sample sizes; Beverages are limited to 2-ounce containers; Food items are limited to “bite-sized” portions.

Use of any sternos or portable electric cooking devices will require a fireextinguisher at your booth and must be separated from each other a minimumof 2’. Any other cooking equipment not mentioned must have approval fromthe Knoxville Convention Center prior to using.

Sampling or selling of ANY item will require a temporary permit from thelocal Health Department. Permits are $30 cash only. You will pay for thepermit on site. The KnoxvilleConvention Center will contact the Health Department & schedule them.They will be on site an hour to a ½ hour before show opens.

You do not need a Health Permit if it is a one -day show.

The use of L.P. Gas cylinders and open flame cooking devices is expresslyforbidden.

No Propane Tanks, Deep Fryers or Turkey Fryers are allowed inside oroutside the building.

The Health Inspector requires you to have a hand washing station at yourbooth which needs to include:

KCC & WFEH Exhibitor/Vendor Fire Marshal Rules:

Aisles/Exits/ Doorways: All required exits, including entrance and lobby areas of each hall, will be

unlocked and kept free of exhibits, booths, tables, registration desk and all otherobstructions during show hours.

Cannot block any Emergency Exit signs or Exit doors unless you get approvalfrom Event Manager and Fire Marshal.

Emergency signs that are not visible but are accessible needs to have a signmade saying EMERGENCY EXIT large enough for people to see.

All cords must be taped down if they are across any exit doors or aisles. Must bein a bright colored tape not Black.

Nothing can ever be stored in a Fire Stairwell

Fire extinguishers, fire hoses, sprinkler closets, alarms, pull down stations, AEDmachines must be visible and accessible at all times.

During event set-up and move-out “Freight Free aisles” must be maintained andkept clear at all times.

Exhibit crates, boxes and cartons cannot be placed in these aisles.

All Fire Extinguisher need to have 3 feet access around it at all times.

Clear access is to be maintained to exhibit halls, concession stands andrestrooms at all times.

Aisles and exits as designated on approved floor plans must be kept clean andclear of obstructions. Booth construction must be substantial and fixed in aspecified area for the duration of the show. Easels, signs, products, chairs, etc.,must not be placed beyond the booth area into aisles.

Cooking Areas Tent/Trailers Outside: 5lb. Type ABC fire extinguisher for each cooking vendor.

Deep fryers with grease cooking need a K-type fire extinguisher.

No open flames are permitted underneath any tent or canopy.

Solid fuel cooking (charcoal, wood) shall be 10 feet away from tents& buildings.

Propane cooking will be allowed to cook under tent with proper fireextinguisher.

Secure all LP/CO2 tanks

Tent shall have a permanently affixed label bearing the identification of size andfabric/material type.

Fire inspection, if required, shall be completed before cooking is allowed on Cityproperty.

Cooking and Warming Devices: All food preparation/cooking which is part of a demonstration or exhibition in an assembly occupancy will be accomplished by means of electrical cooking devices. These cooking devices and their power supply will be governed and regulated by such applicable codes.

Portable Cooking Electric cooking devices shall be permitted as follows:o Shall be placed on a non-combustible surfaceo Shall be separated from each other by a minimum horizontal distance of

two (2) feet.o They shall be kept a minimum horizontal distance of two (2) feet from a

combustible material.o A 5lb. ABC Fire Extinguisher shall be located at each booth where these

cooking-warming devices are utilized.o The use of L.P. gas cylinders and open flame cooking devices is expressly

forbidden.o Cooking with any sternos or butane cooktops will require a fire

extinguisher to be at every station.o Ovens can be used in building depending on what you are cooking, and

there needs to be enough ventilation. Get approval from Event Manager.o NO Propane tanks, turkey fryers, deep fryers or grills are allowed inside

or outside the facility.o You can bring in an electric deep fryer but you are required to bring in a

class K fire extinguisher to be at your booth. Licensee or exhibitor needsto provide their own Fire extinguisher the building does not have them torent.

Food & Beverage Guidelines: Sample food and/or beverage products may be distributed as long as they fill out

our sampling request form and our Director of Food and Beverage approves it.Such samples must comply with the established sample size policies.

NO outside food and beverage or alcohol of any kind is allowed on premiseinside the KCC or the WFEH.

Electric: All cords need to be taped down if they go across a doorway or aisles. Must be

taped down with a bright colored tape like yellow.

No daisy chaining on power strips (plugging a power strip into another powerstrip).

Any cords underneath carpet or those that run across your booth where thepublic is walking needs to be tapped down with yellow or a bright color tape.

Fire Codes: No display or exhibit shall be installed or operated which interfere in any way to

access to any required emergency exit, exit or exit sign, nor shall any displayblock access to or obscure access to firefighting equipment.

All exhibit booths shall be of either non-combustible material, fire retardanttreated wood or any other materials fire treated in an approved manner.

All decorative materials such as loose fibers, board, curtains, hangings, tablecovers, etc., must be fire retardant treated in an approved manner. Materialsused in display construction or decorating shall be made of fire retardantmaterials and be certified as flame retardant. Samples should also be availablefor inspection. (examples: drape, signs, banners, acoustical materials, bale ofhay, moss, split bamboo, plastic cloth).Oilcloth, tar paper, sisal paper, nylon,orlon and other plastic materials that are not retardant are prohibited.

Mulch needs to be wet, cannot be more than a 1 foot deep. Need to watermulch each night at end of show, not in the morning.

NO pine straw or hay is allowed in the KCC or WFEH unless it is left in the baleand is fire retardant and used for decoration. Will need to have prior approvalfrom Event Manager and Fire Marshal.

NO electronic, vapor or regular cigarettes allowed in the building. Need to be indesignated areas outside of the building.

NO selling of electronic or vapor cigarettes allowed in the facility unless you getapproval from Event Manager and Fire Marshal.

Flammable or combustible liquids, hazardous chemicals or materials, Class IIlasers, blasting agents, and explosives are prohibited.

Any Pyrotechnics need to fill out the Pyrotechnics permit form and get approval.

Any Compressed natural gas (CNG) or propane (L.P.) field is Prohibited inside oroutside the building.

Fire Extinguishers as required by the Fire Marshal shall be supplied by theexhibitor or licensee the KCC or WFEH does not supply them.

Candles: All candles need to be in an enclosed container NO open flames are allowed

inside the facility.

Trailers: For trailers you need one (1) fire extinguisher for every 3000ft.

Can have a trailer for a billboard sign but you cannot have people climbing orshopping in the trailer.

20’x20’ trailer can come in the building with Event Manager approval.

Any trailers that will have people walking in them need to have Event Managerand Fire Marshal approval before hand

Exhibit Structures: Exhibits with solid walls, multiple levels, stairs, or canopies/tents over 300

square feet need to submit a floor plan of structure & fill out an application for building permit with the City of Knoxville Building Inspections and Plans Review Department. There shall be a licensed structural engineer’s stamp of approval on all plans go to City of Knoxville website at www.knoxvilleTN.gov or send an email to [email protected] or call (865) 215-3669

All Exhibit Structures shall be made of either non-combustible material, fire retardant treated wood or any other materials fire treated in an approved manner. Expanded foam materials shall be fire-retardant.

Structurally, any “build-up” (or double decker) booth shall have the stamp of a qualified structural engineer attesting to its construction standards.

All electrical installation shall be standard 3-wire ground wire in conduit. Particular attention shall be paid to neon electrical installation due to high voltage and breakable nature of this type of lighting. Exposed wire of any sort is never allowed.

All booths constructed within an exhibit hall shall provide for the safe exit of occupants. Two means of exit are required from exhibits, rooms, decks or platform areas where:

o The inteneded occupant load of the exhibit exceeds 50 persons. o The floor area exceeds 1,600 square feet o The distance from any point in the floor area to an aisle exceeds 50 feet.

Structures up to 12 feet high must withstand a wind force of 5 pounds per square foot. All construction will meet local, state, and federally mandated codes.

Guardrails need to be provided for all moving equipment as well as hand and eye shields for all heat generating.

All exhibits, towers, and other components over 12 feet high will be engineered appropriate to their use and constructed from drawings bearing the stamp of a reviewing structural engineer and a structural permit filled out and turned into the City of Knoxville Fire Marshal’s office

Stairs shall be: o A minimum of 36 inches wide. o Stair risers shall be between 7inches and 4 inches in height. o Treads shall a minimum run of 11 inches, exclusive of nosing. o Curved or spiral stairs are not recommended for areas occupied by the

public, visitors or clientele, shall not be used unless approved by the local Fire Marshal.

o Handrails need to be on either side of every stair way.

All exhibits, towers, and other components over 12 feet high will be engineered appropriate to their use and constructed from drawings bearing the stamp of a reviewing structural engineer and a structural permit filled out and turned into the City of Knoxville Fire Marshal’s office.

Exhibits with Enclosed Areas, with Ceilings: Covered or roofed areas shall be furnished with acceptable (and tested) battery-

powered smoke detectors which emit alarms audible outside of the enclosed orcovered area

There shall be fire extinguishers, minimum 5 Lb. ABC, in each enclosed area.

There shall be a locally approved Fire Watch for enclosure larger than 300 squarefeet.

Exhibits with Multiple Levels: Upper level shall support a live load of 100 lbs. per square foot.

Guardrails shall be at least 42 inches in height and have intermediate railsthrough which a six-inch sphere cannot pass.

Stairways shall be at least 36 inches wide for occupancies of fewer than 50people. Stairways shall be at least 44 inches wide for occupancies of 50 people ormore.

Stairways shall support a live load of 75 pounds per square foot.

There shall be stairways, separate and remote from each other, from the upperdeck, with an occupancy factor of twenty-five or more people, or where theupper deck size exceeds 500 square feet.

Covered and roofed areas shall be furnished with acceptable (and tested)battery-powered smoke detectors which emit alarms audible outside of theenclosed or covered area, per local code.

There shall be a fire extinguisher, minimum 5 lb. ABC, in each enclosed areacovered by the floor above.

There shall be a licensed structural engineer’s stamp of approval on all plans anda structural permit filled out and turned into the City of Knoxville Fire Marshal’soffice.

Covered areas over 300 square feet will require a Fire Watch during the showhours.

A clear firebreak of at least 10 feet shall be provided between double-deck incovered area in excess of 1,000 square feet

There shall be stairways, separate and remote from each other, from the upperdeck, with an occupancy factor of twenty-five or more people, or where theupper deck size exceeds 500 square feet

Tents/ Enclosed Structures: A structure/tent maximum size of 12 feet x10 feet or 120 square feet can have a

roof as long as there are no sides on the structure/tent.

A structure smaller than 10 feet x10 feet can have a roof and sides.

Any enclosed space larger than a 12-foot x 10-foot or 120 square foot spaceneeds to be approved by the Event manager and Fire Marshal at least 30 daysprior to contracted move-in day. A floor plan of the structure/tent must besubmitted to the Event Manager as well.

Any enclosed space larger than 300 sq. ft. space needs to have a sprinkler systemunderneath it and smoke detectors. There also needs to be a locally approvedFire Watch during event hours at $33 an hour with a 4-hour minimum.

Need to get approval for any structure larger than 120 sq. ft. or 12x10 from yourEvent Manager 60 days before contracted move-in day.

NO SMOKING signs must be installed in any tent/structure.

One 5 lb. ABC fire extinguisher must be present for 500-1,000 square feet withone additional fire extinguisher per 2,000 square feet.

Exits must be clearly marked and exit curtain must be a contrasting color.

Tent must be fire resistant per the Fire Code Chapter 8, with documentation onsite.

Proper aisles must be maintained.

The number of exits required by occupancy load:o 0-199 – 2 exits per tento 200-499 – 3 exits per tento 500-999 – 4 exits per tento 1,000-1,999 – 5 exits per tento 2,000 – plus – 6 exits per tent

Sparklers: The use of sparklers at the Knoxville Convention Center and World’s Fair Exhibition Hall: In accordance with Article 220 of the City of Knoxville Ordinance – fireworks are regulated by the Fire Marshal’s office and a permit is required for Class C fireworks. Sparklers are classified as Class C. The meeting planner contracts with a state licensed pyrotechnic company to submit the permit request to the Fire Marshal’s office for the scheduling of a Fire Marshal to be on site during the demonstration as well as to provide all supplies for the demonstration. Although sparklers are permissible under the above conditions, they may be cost prohibitive to your event. The permit fee is $50, the Fire Marshal on site fee is $100 and the minimal on electronic firing systems with professional gerbs (non-handheld sparklers) fee is $2500-$3000. In addition to these costs, the Knoxville Convention Center’s concrete cleaning fee is $250
