- A Word From Elaine So have we entered a new era in the app store? Can viral social media campaigns can sky rocket humble games to the top of the charts? Once a game makes it to the top charts, there is very little that can keep it at #1, aside from paying $$$$$ for advertising installs daily, or having a hugely engaged player community. And Flappy Bird is still right up at the top of the charts for 14 days now.
