We get rid of our pride Laodiceans were arrogant (Rev. 3:17). A healthy dose of humility is what we need.Romans 12:3; I Peter 5:6.

We are honest with ourselves and God Jesus abides in us; we can be good (John 15:4). Honesty at heart of confession (I John 1:8-10).Psalm 139:23-24: David’s life is no different

than ours.

Spend time with Jesus Bible study (Eph. 6:11-13; John 17:17; II Tim.

3:16-17; Col. 1:5; Rom. 10:17; Acts 20:32). Prayer (I Thess. 5:16-18; Eph. 6:18-20). Time with God’s family (Acts 2:46-47).

Listen to what Jesus says He is the pilot, setting the course (Isaiah 64:8). Do what He says (Matt. 7:21-23; Luke 6:46). Don’t let Jesus be a guest; let Him be in control.
