Nathan G Bush, Partner, O'Melveny & Myers LLP
Nathan G. Bush ("Nate") is a partner in the Beijing and Singapore offices of O'Melveny & Myers LLP. Nate's practice focuses on regulatory
investigations, commercial disputes, and litigation concerning antitrust and competition, fraud and corruption, and international trade. In the
competition field, Nate represents clients in connection with U.S. antitrust matters, and provides strategic counseling regarding merger
notifications, compliance strategies, and enforcement risks under Asian competition regimes. He frequently publishes and speaks on
competition and trade policy in Asia, and authored the China chapter of the ABA treatise on COMPETITION LAWS OUTSIDE THE UNITED

Christopher To, Executive Director, Hong Kong Construction Industry Council
Christopher To is the Executive Director Construction Industry Council, a statutory body in Hong Kong tasked among other functions to advise
and make recommendations to the Government on strategic matters, major policies and legislative proposals, that may affect or are
connected with the construction industry, and on matters of concern to the construction industry. As former Secretary-General of the Hong
Kong International Arbitration Centre, he managed to elevate Hong Kong's status as the regional dispute resolution hub of Asia by increasing
the number of international dispute cases being referred to Hong Kong for amiable resolution as well as creating the Asian Domain Name
Dispute Resolution Centre, a body that has gain international prominence within the dot.com community as a reliable, trustworthy,
independent and reputable entity that manages domain name disputes. In recognition of his outstanding leadership and his contribution to the
community, in 2001 he was honored as the youngest Director of the Year in Hong Kong and in 2007 he was honored as a Young Global
Leader by the World Economic Forum. Christopher holds qualifications in computing, engineering and law. He is a recognized authority on
alternative dispute resolution techniques and is a sought-after speaker/moderator at international forums. He holds Adjunct Professorships
from leading Universities and is on the board of various organisations ranging from education to research and development.
Adrian Emch, Kluwer Law Author, Partner, Hogan Lovells
Practises antitrust law, with a particular focus on matters related to China. Adrian has broad experience in all aspects of competition law,
including merger control, multi-jurisdictional merger filings, cartel investigations and antitrust counselling. Adrian is a lecturer of competition
law and member of the faculty at Peking University's IP School. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Adrian completed an internship with the
Directorate-General of Competition at the European Commission (DG COMP) and was in private practice in Brussels and Beijing in the field of
competition law. Adrian is the co-editor of a book on BRICS competition law published in 2012, and – together with David Stallibrass – he
edited the book "China's Anti-Monopoly Law – The First Five Years," released in August 2013. Both books are published with Kluwer Law

Michael Clancy is special counsel in the Covington & Burling Brussels office. He has particular experience in antitrust matters in regulated
industries, including the life sciences sector, and is currently advising generic drug makers Zoetis and Xellia in defense against the European
Commission's first decision concerning reverse-payment settlement agreements. He also routinely advises companies in the IT and mobile

Trevor Soames, Partner, Antitrust Group Shearman & Sterling
Trevor Soames is a partner in the firm's Antitrust Group based in the Brussels office where he practices EU and Member State
antitrust/competition and regulatory law. Until 2010, he was Co-Chair of Howrey's worldwide antitrust practice and Managing Partner of its
highly successful Brussels office. He focuses on client critical contentious cases covering the whole range of antitrust including mergers,
monopolisation (dominance), state aid and cartel investigations in Europe and the USA. An experienced advocate, Mr. Soames is often called

Sanghoon Shin, Partner (Senior Foreign Legal Advisor) Antitrust & Competition Law New York Bar Association
Mr. Sanghoon SHIN, admitted to New York Bar, is a foreign legal advisor of Bae, Kim &Lee LLC. He passed the 40th higher civil service
examination and began to work with the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) as a public official in February 1998. He worked at the FTC (in
International Cooperation Division, Mergers and Acquisitions Team, and Institutional Improvement Planning Task Force), planning and
implementing various cases/policies related to fair trade until April 2007. Since joining Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in April 2007, he has advised on
various fair trade cases, such as mergers and acquisitions, cartels, unfair trade practices, abuse of dominant market position, and unfair
supports. In particular, he has focused on providing foreign companies with legal services related to fair trade. He served as a legal advisor
(on fair contents trade) to Korea Creative Content Agency. He enjoys contributing to fair trade journals including Competition Journal, and
often gives lectures on fair tradeat companies, law schools and academia.
Piyush Gupta, Partner, Head of Competition and Aviation Practice, Kochhar & Co
Piyush Gupta is a competition and aviation law expert having practiced with leading law firms and prestigious airlines in India and in
Singapore for over a decade. He holds a Masters degree from The George Washington University. He is currently Partner and head of
Competition and Aviation Law Practices at Kochhar & Co., one of India's leading and largest law firms. He has spearheaded the competition
law compliance regime at 'IndiGo' airlines – the largest low cost airline in India. In Singapore, he has worked with Singapore Airlines Ltd. and
has been a part of the competition law team at Rajah & Tann.
Johan Van Acker, Partner, Van Bael & Bellis
Johan Van Acker is a partner in the competition law practice of Van Bael & Bellis, a Brussels-based firm focused on EU competition and trade
law. Johan is a Belgian-qualified lawyer who specialises in EU and Belgian competition law, with a particular emphasis on merger control. He
has successfully assisted clients in numerous merger cases before the European Commission and national competition authorities. For
instance, in 2010, Johan represented the Japanese steel industry in their successful opposition before the European Commission to the
planned joint venture between BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto, for which he was awarded a Merger Control Matter of the Year Award by Global
Competition Review. In 2011, Johan represented Skype in the unconditional EU approval of its acquisition by Microsoft, which received the
