Putting your bin out for collection• Please ensure that your bins are presented at

the kerbside or designated collection point by 7am on your collection day.

• Ensure that the wheels are facing the road and the bin lid is down.

• Please ensure your bin does not contain items that can not be recycled in your brown bin.

• Ensure your bins are labelled with your street name and number. This will help prevent it from getting lost or stolen on collection day.

• Bins must be stored securely on your own property, except for collection days.

• In freezing temperatures, storing your bin in a sheltered position will help to stop the waste freezing and enable the crews to empty it.

Missed bin collectionIf you put your bin out for collection as detailed and it has not been emptied, you should report it online at www.wirral.gov.uk/recycling within 3 working days.

If you report a missed bin after 3 working days, the collection crews will not return and your bin will not be emptied until your next scheduled collection.

Missing/lost binsIf your bin goes missing on the day of collection, please report it online at www.wirral.gov.uk/recycling
