Galway Hooker 12x500ml

The beer initially greets the palate with a balanced burst of tangy bitterness and understated biscuity flavours which perfectly compliment the floral aroma and citrusy, dry finish. Abv: 4.4%.A masterpiece of brewing, a pale ale that is quiet the most moreish drink we have encountered in years. Everything about Galway Hooker is the antithesis of mass-produced beers: it is subtle, graceful, has superb texture and mouth-feel, the fruit and hop notes are poised and tantalizing, it is refreshing rather than gaseous, and it is fresh rather than flat and dull. An amazing feat of brewing.

Barefoot Bohemian Pilsner Lager 24x33cl

Bohemians are creative dreamers who defy convention. Our Bohemian Pilsner is just that, an unorthodox lager with complex biscuity malt, soft rounded bitnerness and a twist of spice from the noble Saaz and Hallertau hops. Tom Crean’s Premium Irish Lager 24x330mlA crisp and refreshing Irish craft lager.

Named after the great Tom Crean, the local man who as a member of the British Navy, went on to take part in 3 of the 4 Antartic Expeditions. It was during the Terra Nova Expedition that he undertook a superhuman 18hr 35 mile solo trek to save the life of his 2 companions. Tom was a modest man and when he retired from the navy he came home to Annascaul and ran the ‘South Pole Inn’. He truly is a man worth commemorating so here’s to Tom!
