Oh what a ride we’ve been on since our first Christmas Internet Sale. Over those past 4 years we’ve sold some of the breeds most decorated, productive and genetically superior heifers to progressive breeders across Canada and into the US. Many of these females have entered into embryo transplant programs, while others have produced show winners and sale toppers for their new owners. In those past years we’ve also been able to grow and improve our cowherd while staying focused on the fundamentals that make our cattle unique... structure, soundness, efficient performance, balanced epd’s and LOOK! That cowherd, built with those traits have garnered us the Premier Breeder at the Royal now for the past 6 years in a row, an accomplishment we are most proud of.This year’s offering runs deep with many standout individuals that proved their worth at this past Royal. The cow power behind the offering is 2nd to none and allows for secure selection with proven productive brood matrons that support the fancy calves selling. The sale calves will come at you this year fresher, friendlier and more diverse genetically than ever before. With the exception of the 3 calves that excelled in the calf classes in Toronto the rest of the calves were raised on their dams till early October without creep. This allows us to evaluate our cow performance more accurately and also provides you, our customer with heifers conditioned for the long haul.The beef industry and in particular the Simmental breed is vibrant, with record prices for feeder calves and then accordingly bull sales as well.
