The standard iQ projector allows you toshow up to three sources simul-taneously (2 data and 1 video). Withthe optional input boards, you can adda second analog video connection or adigital video connection. This way youcan display simultaneously 2 data and2 video sources, a unique feature of theiQ projector Series.

Efficient decision making often meansexchanging and retrieving informationin a fast and efficient way. Previously,when exchanging data duringcollaborative meetings, laptops neededto be connected and disconnected, andinformation was shown in a sequentialway. Now, the iQ enables you to connect 2laptops simultaneously, so data can becompared easily .

Innovative dual-lampsystemAll iQ Series projectors come with anadvanced dual-lamp system tomaximize light efficiency and reliability.The iQ 350 Series feature a 3000-hourlamp system lifetime in dual lampmode. Switch to single-lamp mode anddouble the lamp system lifetime (6000hours).

If one lamp should fail, the iQ’s auto-sensing feature instantly switches tothe other lamp. All without going intostandby mode.

Further, the critical brightness level ofthe iQ projector is being maintainedvery well, even towards the end of thelamp’s lifetime.

Silent by design

The carefully designed magnesiumhousing ensures optimal cooling andairflow, resulting in a low noise level(<37 dBa for iQ 350 Series).

Simply connect a standard codec andvideo camera to the projector and yourmeeting room becomes avideoconferencing space. Your iQprojector displays your local audience,the remote audience*, and the sharedpresentation.

The iQ array of input connections isenough to impress the mostsophisticated electronics user. Andthey're all located for easy access inthe cable basket on the projector’sfront panel. The iQ Series offers uniquevideo application possibilities. Connectup to seven composite video sources orup to three S-Video sources. Anintelligent video switcher is included toprovide easy management of thevarious connections. There is no need to go to the expenseof external switchers.

The iQ comes standard with followingconnections: all RGB configurations,D15 connection, Composite Video, S-Video, Component Video and DVI. ThisSeries also displays an extremely widerange of signals, including analog datato digital video and from the latestHDTV sources to all of today’s popularRGB computer formats.

DVI (Digital Visual Interface) is the newopen industry specification for digitalconnectivity. It replaces today's multiplestandards for data connections. Thedigital signal from a computer istransmitted directly to LCD panels withminimal degradation or interference.

Make sure your logois always there. You can pre-program your companylogo or some other appropriate imageto appear on the screen. Then duringintermissions or long discussions, thescreen never goes blank. With one clickon the remote control, you can switchfrom the display source to a full-colorrendition of your logo or to anotherimage you have chosen. Your iQ projector can be programmedto display this image when no signal isdetected.

Shut the light inbetweenpresentations.

The light shutter button on the remotecontrol, enables you to hold back anylight of the projector. This way you can keep preparation,setup and startup screens hidden forthe audience, by blocking the light ofthe projector. You only open the lensshutter when you’re ready to start yourpresentation.

Audio switcher and video inputboard This optional board consists of a videodecoder, and an audio switcher andmixer. It includes a Composite Video, S-video, 4 Stereo Audio Input and aStereo Audio Output to connect up tofour audio sources attached to each ofthe maximum four windows in picture-in-picture mode. All four audio inputscan be routed and mixed in anynumber of ways to the audio outputjack.

SDI input boardThis optional board offers an SDI (SerialDigital Interface) connection, with anSDI in and an SDI out connector,commonly known as active SDI loopthrough.

Barco iQ LongLife projector, designed for intensive-use applications

The iQ LongLife projector offers thesame functionality as the iQ projector,and is designed for intensive-useapplications. Special precisioncomponents and filters have beenadded to the projector design toguarantee a longer lifetime of allcritical projector components. This way,the time and expense for servicing andmaintenance are reduced, which isvery important in intensive-useapplications.

Special long-life lamps are includedwith this projector. The iQ LongLifeprojector comes with two 120Wlamps, with a lifetime of 6,000 hoursper lamp. This means that in dual lampmode, the iQ LongLife projector canrun a much longer time, i.e. 6,000hours, and will deliver a light outputlevel of up to 2,000 ANSI lumens. Onthe other hand, if you only need up to1,000 ANSI lumens brightness, you canuse the projector in single lamp modeand the lamps will run sequentiallyduring a total of 12,000 hours.

The iQ LongLife projector is the idealsolution for applications where theprojector runs most of the day, like…• reception areas that display welcomemessages or a corporate videos mostof the day• meeting rooms where severalpresentations are given daily
