Our course offered a comprehensive investigation of the theories and practices of foreignpolicy making and security studies. It required students to have an excellentundeistanding of public policy and international relations in general, and to synthesizeand articulati a lot of different materials on a broad range of contemporary politicalissues. Mr Caro was an excellent student and one of the best in the class. In his researchpresentations and essays, Mr Caro demonstrated very good analytical and communicationitittr. He also showed great insight into both Eastern and Western culture; and hismultiple perspectives in problem-solving made his policy recommendationcompreheniive and feasible. Mr Caro also did very well in group discussion ald team*o.liirg where he proved himself to be a leader of his peers and an eloquent speaker.

Born in Argentina and educated in a New Zealand tertiary institute, Mr Caro is an

I have known Tf since he entered IPU New Zealand as an undergraduate studentinZ0L2 and he is expected to graduate in December 2015 with a Bachelor ofContemporary International Studies (distinction) with a major in InternationalRelations, and a Diploma of Iapanese Studies IDIAST).

In his final year Tf completed a secondary research project titled " Indonesia'sPolitical Ecology: The advantages and disadvantages of the palm oil industry inSumatra, Indonesia", of which he put a great deal of time and effort into, andwhich was completed very successfully.
