August 2007Westerly view of the Ipswich/Logan Interchange Project.

Works are underway to the southern side of the Ipswich Motorway, and the Ipswich Motorway to Logan Motorway underpass.

October 2008One of the project’s major traffic changes took place in September 2008. The Ipswich Motorway to Logan Motorway underpass was opened to traffic and the first three spans of the Old Logan Road Bridge were installed.

June 2009The project team is progressing works with a series of permanent changes as the project nears completion.

Both Ipswich Motorway/Logan Motorway underpasses are in the final stages of completion. All seven spans of the Old Logan Road Bridge have been installed. Brisbane Road (service road) has been opened for one-way traffic (Ipswich bound).

January 2008The works around the interchange have expanded as work progresses.

The roundabout at the end of Old Logan Road has been replaced with a T-intersection. Works on the Ipswich Motorway to Logan Motorway underpass are well underway.
